Where the HOF players not showing up outrage?

Hall of Famers are the wrong set of ex players to complain here, I think, since by definition they all had long careers and endorsement potential. I thought when I began reading they were sticking up for all of their fellow veterans, but they have a much more self-interested plan in mind.

At any rate, even this reasoning is more respectable than being pouty for only making the HOF in your third year of eligibility.
And It's certainly not fair to retired non HOF's. It will be interesting to see how this plays out along with all the other dilemmas Goodell is faced with.

I still want the media and those responsible for those who get in to explain to me why Randy Moss who had on and off the field issues was a first ballot HOF while TO who only had some on the field issues wasn't worthy of a first ballot HOF?
