I am not very familiar with buying tickets online..I know of very few sources..I know of stubhub and I know of craigslist..and I recently came across the nfl ticket exchange..

I am trying to purchase tickets to the season opener vs the Commanders in DC and the prices for these tickets are absolutely outrageous..

Is there any possibility of me finding tickets to this game online for a decent price?

Are they really that expensive? I'll go out on a limb here and say that you probably won't find cheap tickets. People know they can sell them for over face-value, so they will.

I only use stubhub. I've found decent deals, but still over face-value. The convenience of it outweighs the prices for me. I've already got my tickets to the Giants, Eagles, and Saints....all from stubhub.com.

If you're in DC, just wait in the days before the game. Local people that can't sell their tickets will unload them cheap.

If you do find a cheap ticket it means:

1. You'll be sitting so high in the stadium that you'll interfere with the flight plans of passenger jets;

2. The tickets are fake.

As mentioned before, prices come down just before the game--usually. Be patient, and know that going to NFL games is an expensive hobby.

Lol, maybe I came across the wrong way. I'm not looking for free seats lol. In willing to pay a fair price for decry seats. But 300 plus per seat is not a fair deal lol.

Depends on where the seats are. I've travelled to 7 to 8 games a year for a while now. I've never found lower deck seats between the 20s for less than that. I'd typically pay at least $350 for the seat in places like Denver and St. Louis. I got them cheaper in Tampa for the opener last year, but I was really high up. And the tickets in those areas at Cowboys stadium are up there too.

And, for a rival game like this in DC when their fans are all pumped up for the game, the asking prices are going to be sky-high.

I went to the Cowboys/Eagles playoff game. The seats were up way high! And 2 tickets for my son & I weren't cheap! I couldn't see very well unless I watched on the jumbo video board. It was nice to be there and hear the roar of the crowd and see some Cowboy fans get into a fight with a group of Eagles fans! :laugh2: I don't mind going to one game and sitting up high, but otherwise, I'd rather stay home and really get a good view.
