Granted, we won, but I'm still disappointed at the Carpenter pick. Perhaps he's just buried in the numbers ... but a 2nd year 1st round pick sitting on the bench is not a good thing. Heck, he's not even in the LB rotation.

There were some good players taken right after Carp who could be contributing right now.

That's because he is small. He currently weighs less than Roy Williams did last season (229 vs 228). He went to Tennessee as a CB so he may be one of those guys that have trouble keeping weight on.
