Dude has been a nice player all year, and has produced nicely when given the ball. Did he even get any touches yesterday? What do we have against this young man that we won't use him?

I betcha he would've done better than Zeke's 3 yards on 4 carries in the 1st qtr.

Sequel convinced Yoda tha he needed more touches and Leupke was overused.

Maybe Jerry refuses to hire anyone who isn't an absolute spineless, yes man coward at the end of the day. We've had a few coaches i couldn't understand why they wouldn't stand up for themselves. It's either that or our coaches really are that clueless.

He’s been fairly effective so we don’t use him. Dowdle is avg 4.2 per carry so we give the ball to Zeke. It’s how they do things in Dallas

Seriously, does anyone have an idea what our running roster and scheme is trying to achieve? I truly do not understand. And this isn't the first season, it's just getting increasingly annoying.

This is what some people are missing just blaming zeke. Zeke was NEVER going to save anything from the get go if one understands what you just said. Nor likely any other RB including Henry. I would venture to say he'd have half the stats he has now, and it's an improvement sure...but not enough to do anything of significance. Not until scheme/blocking gets "fixed".

This is what some people are missing just blaming zeke. Zeke was NEVER going to save anything from the get go if one understands what you just said. Nor likely any other RB including Henry. I would venture to say he'd have half the stats he has now, and it's an improvement sure...but not enough to do anything of significance. Not until scheme/blocking gets "fixed".

It might be....but so's almost everything else. I watch teams consistently make holes. I watched teams that have O-linemen engaged with their man but the line is getting pushed forward (which allows the RB to get some momentum, even if it's not a huge hole). I see correct double teams and 2nd level blocking. I watch coaches or QB audible surprise defenses. I watch QB's either design run or option run for good yards and 1st downs, which definitely effects the defense, makes them more cautious.

We either have none of that or way too inconsistent.

Hunter had zero carries, zero receptions, zero targets. He's proven to be a capable player. Why do you think zero is a good number for him?

BTW, you completely misread my thread. No one, I repeat NO ONE is saying he should get a ton of touches. That is strictly your idea, a massively erroneous idea.

Neither is #15 but they FORCED him in the game, I think this game plan was to get zeke in, and make him happy. There's a lot of guys out there playing that don't generate big plays, doesn't mean you can't play them

All I can do is think they are trying to self sabotage. These guys come off solid games and instead of increasing their reps they go down. I honestly don't know what's going on. Its easier to believe self sabotage then incompetence to this magnitude.
