After the first half of the 1st quarter Ware was invisible. I know he had some pressure early on Cutler but he also whiffed on a play where he went unblocked. Cutler was holding the ball in one had and if DeMarcus doesn't miss him Cutler may well have fumbled the ball deep into their own territory. We need to make that kind of play to give our offense a short field on occasion. Ware was also going against a backup left tackle!

I know any criticism of Ware is frowned upon here, But I think he is a little bit overrated. Think about it. Clay Mathews plays in the 3-4 and he already has 6 sacks! James Harrision played against a very good LT today and had two forced fumbles and two sacks for a total of 25 fantasy points.

Maybe I'm just expecting too much, but let's face it Ware hasn't exactly been going up against Anthony Munoz types these first two games.

I agree wholehearthedly. Been saying it all along. Makes a sack and get sup and pounds his chest when the scores 35-10.

You're gonna shoot down his entire point because he used fantasy points to illustrate how successful Harrison was?

Makes you look like the one who should be :bang2:

All you need to know about DeMarcus Ware.

Wade got out coached today in a big way by Martz. Ware was all over the field.

It looked like Mike Martz and Cutler neutralized our entire pass rush after a few plays. It was weird, because the first few drives it looked like it was gonna be a LONG day for Cutler. Then something changed.

I think Ware is a great player.

I think hes a good player too, I just feel he should be on a team with a DC that tells him to go out and kill the QB were we tell him, run past the QB and look confused.

I think it was disgusting Williams had an all Pro day against him when we faced Washington now the Bears had a horrid line and he could have had a good day and its wasted on an anemic offense thats being killed by a guy who proves year in and year out he doesnt want the job. He likes the money, not the job.

It's called an adjustment. Competent coaching staffs make them.

Ware is the most complete linebacker in the league, hands down.

This is not a false statement, he should be on a team that tells him to kill a QB or two.

I feel that exact same way about Ware and Witten. I thought that way about Witten for awhile, but these first two weeks Ware has played soft in crunch time. Nobody can deny that unless you are just a homer. If the most "hype" guy on your defense is your cornerback your defense isn't going to be too tough. Players don't seem to feed off each others energy. If you know about football you KNOW what Dallas is lacking on defense. Ware is not a great player, he is a very good player.

Ware was there to make plays, and pressure, but the Bears made hella good adjustments in their blocking game, and worked as a cohesive unit to really help Cutler settle in. Ware can't get a sack every time. Though I do hate seeing him drop into coverage...

This is 2010. This is a what have you done for me lately league. Didn't we learn that the hard way with #31? Mario Williams destroyed Mcnabb at the end of the Texan game on a sack and made Trent look stupid. Thats what you do in crunchtime against rookies. Not be invisible with the game on the line.

You mean the Bear's coaching staff made some in-game adjustments??? Gee, imagine that.

I was thinking the same -- watching the Packers it occurred to me that the Packers don't mess around dropping Clay Matthews much --- he is pass rushing just about every play from just about every possible position in the front 7. I see Ware dropping in coverage more than I like -- to drop him into coverage is a waste of his talent... I understand it HAS to happen sometimes based on offensive schemes, etc, however, seeing Clay Matthews rushing the passer on about 99% of the passing downs tells me it can be done another way.
