Where would the Cowboys finish in the AFC East?

Just wanting to see how fellow forum members evaluate and truly gauge our team. Playing hypothetical, if the Cowboys were to switch divisions with the Patriots and we were to compete against the Bills, Jets and Dolphins, where would we finish?

The NFC is historically weak again and the AFC East is now considered the most competitive on paper. This is also assuming that all players remain healthy, especially a player like Tua which can be a deciding factor in the choice.

Have at and and speak your truth…….

honestly, i think that this team can hang with anyone and could compete with anyone - i dont think we are built to matchup with them the same way we are built to match up with the nfc east teams, esp Philly, but still our secondary could match up against any of them and compete.

Id probably say we end up 2nd behind buffalo but split with the other two teams.

I think Dallas and Philly would win the AFC East. Rodgers will now be infected with the Curse of the Jets. We'd go 5-1 (split with the Bills), at worse 4-2 (split with Bills and Dolphins).

It’s too early to tell. We are all making assumptions about all 32 NFL teams based on the past. I think the Cowboys SHOULD be as good as any team in the league. But the NFL is a year to year league. The only guarantee I would make is there will always be surprises.

The Cowboys can hang with any team in the AFC.

People give the AFC credit for their QB's and I Get it but they don't have teams as good as the NFC. To me as a TEAM the 49ers, Cowboys and Eagles are just as good or better than anyone in the AFC. The QB spot is where things change in favor of the AFC but the NFC has the better teams.

Bills are the one teams that do play well on both sides.

Just me, I only fav the Chiefs and Bills over us, maybe the Bengals but we beat them last season. All other teams from the conference would be an underdog.
Something about the Bills I don't know if its Allen's recklessness or what but I do not like the Bills like everyone else does. Then there's the Chief who have a inferior roster to the Bills but have Mahomes and a better head coach.

Considering the power rankings I have seen only Buffalo would be considered above Dallas. With what has transpired this week with Diggs there maybe forces at work that are unseen. So yes, I believe Dallas could win AFCE.

We’d finish at least 3-3 in the division. AFC East is better but not by as much as you think. NFC East finished with 43 wins last season. That’s 5 more wins than any other division (AFC North had 38).

I think they would do well in the AFCE as well as the North, South and West.

Last season the NFCE was as good, if not better, than any division in either conference.

The key to this season, as with most, is health more than which division or conference they play in.

Dallas and Buffalo would battle for the top two spots, everyone else would come behind. The AFC East isn't as good as some people think.

Guys, are you looking at the same team I am? This is a good team. Has to stay healthy but it is a good team.

I think some are letting the hangover from that last game affect their evaluation of this team.

New England - We should handle them...their defense would be our biggest issue because Bill aint just letting you throw up 40 points and they have some players....its their offense that needs to catch up

Miami - I dont believe in this team...at all..they'll get 1 victory maybe and im banking on a sweep here

Buffalo - Buffalo is a toss up because they're the same team as us and theres no difference..None whatsoever...Allen throws just as many boneheaded ints as Prescott, they win games in the regular season and fall short in the playoffs....we sweep them or they sweep us no inbetween

Jets - idk...by going off last year we split because their defense is elite...we take both imo in close games this season (if were in the afc)

Dallas and Buffalo are pretty similar teams and legit contenders IMO. I could see either winning this hypothetical division, but I'll say Dallas in second with 11 wins.

I think they are a game or two better than both the Jets and Dolphins, and the Pats would almost certainly finish last, which is still weird to say.
