 Kind of off topic but i was wondering what you all think should be the next city to expand too and what city you would like to see have a nfl franchise. Anywhere in north america no europe.

The NFL is already too watered down and should not add any new teams. Now if they wanted to move someone that would be a different story.

They should move the Commanders to Canada. Saskatoon comes to mind. :lmao2:

none. their's already a few franchises they should do away with.

I agree with this. When you add too many teams and spread the talent too thin you weaken the quality of the game. If the NFL were to expand though I think Portland could be a good market and offer a regional rival for Seattle. Portland has the same, or greater population, as/than quite a few current NFL teams. The city has one of the best public transportation systems in the nation, which could provide easy stadium access much like Denver's light rail does. It's a high income area that doesn't have a lot of other major sports distractions and could tap into the weak television markets in places like Montana and Wyoming.

None. The league is watered down enough. It's to the point where an "Good" team - like the patriots - is considered "Great" eventhough they're no where good as teams from 15+ years ago.

Move the Chargers to Orange County (in between LA and San Diego). Rename them the Southern California Chargers.

The San Diego fans won't jump ship because they're only an hour away still, and the LA fans will jump onto the bandwagon because "Southern California" obviously applies to them as well.

On top of that, the NFL's symmetrical 32 team, 8 4-team division format is kept in tact.

Sadly it'll never happen, even though theoretically there IS a big enough population base to support an NFL team. The Commanders would lost a HUGE chunk of fans, and Snyder would never let that happen.

To the guy who said "Richmond" -- HA! We couldn't keep a AAA baseball team or even an Arena League 2 football team!

I think Mexico City would be a good place to go. The NFL wants to go international, and places like Toronto and Mexico City would allow them to do it without causing an undue amount of travel for existing teams.

Im still bugged that L.A. doesnt have a football team. It's the second biggest market in the country and they're still living off the Raiders who suck to much to have both Northern and Southern Cal on their jock.

LA is a joke, they also act like the Chargers are a home team too. They did not even show the Dallas Patriots game here. The showed the Chargers. If they did put a team out here it would be too far from the City of Los Angeles and people would not go to the games anyway.

I don't want the NFL to expand any more. 32 teams is perfect symmetry.

I wouldnt be surprised to see a team in the Austin/SA "area" soon. Both metros are getting bigger at a rapid rate and starting to become one.
Maybe San Antonio. But Austin will never get an NFL team. First off, if SA gets one, Austin won't care. It still will be a solid Cowboy town. Second, and probably the most important is that the Texas Longhorns are there.

While Austin does love the Cowboys, they are a distant 2nd to the Longhorns. That's probably a reason why a couple other cities will not get a team in the near future. Cities like Birmingham because of Auburn and Alabama. Cities like Oklahoma City because of OU and OSU.

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Yep, I'm bias. I'd love to have an NFL franchise a mere hours drive north of me. :)
