Jimmy had better hair.Tom was a better dresser no question about that .
For consistent winning seasons over time, the nod is to Landry.I'd say Landry.
I don't think Jimmy was capable of coaching the same group of players for 10 years. He was struggling with motivating the Cowboys in 1993 even though they won a Super Bowl. He was the better coach, but not the better long term coach.
It was so much different back in Landry's day. Could we imagine Johnson back in the 60s and 70s?In today's NFL, I go with Jimmy. Landry would never be able to relate to today's players, much less motivate them.
Kind of. He did play on a national championship Razorback team and so did Jerry Jones. Crazy isn't it?It was so much different back in Landry's day. Could we imagine Johnson back in the 60s and 70s?
Absolutely. Those players would have respected him immensely. They would have loved his passion and his mind for the game.It was so much different back in Landry's day. Could we imagine Johnson back in the 60s and 70s?
Eventually, Landry couldn't adapt to the modern NFL players and the changing game. That, or he ran out of time.Absolutely. Those players would have respected him immensely. They would have loved his passion and his mind for the game.
