There is a reason Jerry hasnt extended Red. He has seen the December fade way too many times.

That means dumping Garrett... Until that happens, it will remain.

We should've done that a long time ago.

We may be better off actually keeping him now and just letting someone come in and try to fix the passing scheme

It feels like it's too late in Romos career to dump coaches but the second Romo is gone I'd get him out of here.

Blitzing up the middle killed this team again. No short slants.

And Romo needs to run when he has open space. He left major yardage out there and it could have opened things up with defenders having to second guess.

I sincerely hope you are right but as I said in another post I think Jerry would rather be comfortable with his coach than win. Garrett would have been canned last year if that was not the case.

You are the one blaming our #3 WR for all of our losses.

The #3 WR has lost two fumbles in the last 3 games.

I personally think Beasley is a nice player but much better suited as #4 WR. He isn't big enough to hold up as the #3 WR and the fact that the ball is being knocked out of his hands is evidence of that.

Coaching is a big issue with this organization, and Jerry running around like he's running everything doesn't help.

You have teams that run hurry up offenses a lot and we don't train for it in training camp. We were tired, as if we only train for that when we have to play a team like that. I would run these guys in to the ground to make sure they're in shape for any offense thrown at us.

Playing zone against teams that like, you're begging to be embarrassed. Not having a BIG MAN presence in the middle, is hurting us. We need a star or two on defense. I don't see any.

Offense is a smoke and mirror offense. Our passing game sucks because of scheme/QB/receivers. Our running game is good, but if teams sell out, then there you go.

Agree, why is Josh Brent on the 53 man roster but not playing. If he is not ready to play I'm sure there's someone who is ready to play that could have that roster spot.

I think Callahan tried to do it, though neither you and I are truly fans of him as an OC. But that would have shortened the passing game.

Did we even move the pocket this game? I started watching it late, but u don't remember any bootlegs.

Red isn't going to be here and have no input in the offense. I'm just waiting for him to take playcalling away from Linehan at this point.

As far as Beasley, I think that fumble was just a great play by the defender. He hit it right when Beasley was putting it into his body.

He would be dumb to do that.

Linehan has me scratching my head at times but im used to it being so bad that I'm afraid to try anyone else.

Linehan is about as good as it will get for us under Garrett.

Play calling has changed, but play design has not. Jerry said specifically that Linehan allows them the same terminology and no real change while targeting play calling around the best players.

That's why they went away from Callahan saying it was unfair to have him an OC while being a WC guy.

Would it be ok if I blamed Rob Ryan? I mean, somehow he surely has a hand in this pathetic loss huh?

From what I've heard from former members of the head office staff, no one wants to win more than JJ, despite his faults. He's trying to create stability here, whether or not he has the right guy to do that I don't know

The issue still remains with this team. In passing downs, it's very easy for teams to defense us.

We simply don't blend a passing and running attack well, but view them really in isolation. It's only this year we started running play-action a lot.

But play-action isn't going to do anything for you on 3rd and distance. It is why we can run well, but still not have a game where Romo is throwing TDs all over the place having defenders second-guessing run or pass.

I think it's pretty clearly not the right guy. Maybe Garrett is a personnel guy (then again look at this defense), but he's certainly not a head coach.

If the plan with zone was to stop the run and maybe have some int's on a pick heavy qb, they failed miserably. Next week will be the same vs Bears if they go with the same scheme

Hopefully Marinelli knows enough to help us stop the Bears inevitable drubbing of us.... they have done it before, and until the last whistle blows and we have a W I for one will go into this game with doubt.

I think it has been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that we do not have the right guy. His 4+ year process looks silly when you see Chip Kelly come in and turn the Eagles around in one year. I know Jerry wants to win but he is comfortable with Garrett and that is more important than winning to him especially when people keep coming to Jerry's World and buy Cowboy gear. As long as he is making money, comfort comes before winning. I think he would prefer to be both comfortable and win but comfort trumps winning proved by his actions.

Beasley is a symbol of all that is wrong with this franchise.

Really? He has played well and I can't remember another time that he fumbled. I don't see him as the problem.
