Sherman seems to do well with the WRs. Outside of him, anyone else?

Sherman seems to be doing well this year so I vote for him.

please just STOP IT.

I'm sick of all the picking and choosing.

nobody should be back. it's time for a fresh start.

plus, Jerry needs to give the new coach the respect he never gave Wade, by letting him select all his coordinators, coaches, scouts, EVERYTHING.

Whichever of them the new head coach wants to keep if any. Should be his choice alone, not ours, not Jerrys.

Ray Sherman has been phenominal with our receivers. Miles Austin was undrafted and turned into a stud, Roy Williams struggled now he is a stud, and Dez Bryant didn't need any help. Ray Sherman deserves to stay and so does Joe Decamilias

I agree that the new coach should be able to pick; but I think Sherman has earned the right to stay.

I dont want to see any faces from these dark times in the future.

Let's start with a clean slate.

I'll ponder on Sherman, but to be honest with you, I have no emotional attachment to any one on this team anymore....it might not be rational thinking, but they pushed me to the brink of insanity. :banghead:

I vote for the Scorched Earth approach with only Sherman surviving the coming apocalypse.

Hell, give Sherman a shot at OC. He's got a hell of a lot more experience than Garrett does, and I like his style.

You should hire a head coach that brings his own staff in, with jerry jones having no say whatso ever in any coaches jerry wants.

If its jason garrett for instance, (which I have suspicion it will be), then jason brings in his own staff, with no interference from jerry jones.

If its cowher, you let him fire whatever coaches he wants and brings in his own staff, including an offensive consultant like dan reeves for example if he wants.

Same for gruden, he brings in his staff, not jerry jones.

Thats part of the problem, the team has to see that the Head Coach is in charge, not jerry jones.

I like the way Sherman developed our 3 starting WRs. And I also give him a lot of credit for Dez's play. It's rare for a rookie WR to have the impact he has. Yet Dez has been focused, giving it his all & discipline/motivated. In fact Austin, RWilliams & Dez stand out as being disciplined, physical & motivated. Do admit Austin had some drops last nite; if caught by him the momentum could have changed back to the Cowboys.

Also think Sherman did best he could with Hurd & Ogletree. Hurd never had the talent to become a legit #3 & Ogletree showed more then most rookie WRs in their first season, but he has seriously gressed--maybe he hit the sophomore slumb. Sherman also gets in the faces of his WRs but he also held back by Wade's coaching "be friends with all the players" game plan.

Frankly, I hired the coach and let him bring in the coaches he wants but I would also only ask him to consider keeping Sherman whose recognized around the NFL as a very good WR coach. Sherman has a history of developing good young WR & I'd like to see him retained but it's all in the hands of next coach.

That's it. Otherwise it's the same old junk. I can't believe that this vainglorious owner repeated his puppeteering mistakes again after Bill left. This sorry story was already written more than a decade ago.

I like Sherman, but cowboyjoe is 100% right...new coach should hire his own staff and god willing bring a GM....yeah, I'm stubbornly holding out hope.

The new coach should be encouraged to retain Sherman if nothing else.

He turned Miles Austin from zero to hero (minus huge drops last night).

Jerry, do the right thing:
