Which college QB do we realistically have a chance of drafting?

Go dline the first few rounds. No reason we can't talk about qb prospects Dallas could pick up on day 3 of the draft. Wouldn't hurt, and Dallas would save money on Orton.

There's plenty of reasons. I.E. the Cowboy roster is weak along the lines and it's depth. Drafting a QB this year would be a waste of a pick. Wait another year.

wait till next year. The cowboys likely in the hunt for the overall top pick with their lack of talent and tough schedule next season. Get Marioti.

Cowboys will sign some UFA in hopes that he'll be the next Romo . Jerry's style.

He has not even done that recently. Usually you can just find the one local product QB who happened to be invited to Dallas Day and pencil him in.

Look for somebody like Dustin Vaughan, James Franklin, Garrett Gilbert or Casey Pachall (although not an RKG).

I seriously don't see why teams are so high on (Manziel) a barely 6'ft qb that has a very average arm. I think the media just keeps pushing this kid up to see who is dumb enough to draft him.

Yeah. It's the media. How tall is Russell Wilson.

Pachall is interesting. Didnt watch him play much but he seemed pretty good when i did see him play. Garret Gilbert has no business being anywhere close to an NFl roster. He couldn't even play scout team. James Franklin can't pass. And he has a long history of injury problems. The freshman Matty mauck was better than Franklin this year.

Aaron Murray out of Georgia - was a mid-first round prospect, got injured and will likely be available in the 3rd/4th/5th. I've been campaigning for us to draft him since September. Similar to Nick Foles he has all the necessary skills to emerge as a franchise QB. He's commonly compared to as "Tony Romo-like" in his playing style.

NO. NO. NO.

JF doesn't have the mental makeup Wilson does. JF is a clown. Grown men in the NFL don't respect clowns. And I don't think JF has the arm Wilson has. I just don't like JF and think he will flop in the pros.

I didn't think Wilson would be this good either.

If he plays like Romo, then we need to move along. I can't stand to have another guy who blows the game with interceptions.

To answer the OP....

Gilbert has no business being near an NFL roster, but neither did Rudy Carpenter, Nick Stephens or Dalton Williams. That is just what we do.

Mental makeup......okay. Clown??? That's a stretch. And, everybody is entitled to their "opinion"

But. He has performed at a very high level in one of the most comeptetive football schools , playing top tier teams in the last 2 years, in the nation......
