He looks slow because he is slow. You have to blind to watch him and not tell that he's slow.

I would not call him a blazingly fast receiver, but slow is not an accurate description. In fact, it really is just your opinion that he "looks" slow. He very often gets behind defenses, runs great routes, and has excellent hands. I would have to argue that you would have to be blind to watch him and think he is slow.

One added point is that speed doesn't make a good receiver. Surely you can agree to that.

Sure, he's not Keyshawn Johnson slow, but it's pretty close. He's looks sluggish on field, particularly compared to his teammate, Jauquin Iglesias, who looks like a stud to me.

We'll see during the offseason what he runs, if he comes out. He might slip into the high 4.4s if works hard at training, but my guess is he runs a borderline 4.5-4.6.

I agree that Iglesias looks faster, but he's dropped a few balls at inopportune times...but it happens to all of them, I guess.

He has talent, but I'm scared to death that he's gonna get broken in half in the NFL... that kid's WAY too skinny for the kind of hitting he's gonna find in the big leagues...

if teams use him like the Colts use Marvin Harrison, don't have him run too many crossing routes, who entered the league at around 175lbs, who is probably 180-5 or so now, soaking wet, and he learns how to step out of bound after he makes the catch like Marvin, I think he would be alright

With all the talk about us drafting a WR, in the 2008 NFL Draft, which WR, would fit Dallas' offense and why: DeSean Jackson (Cal), Harry Douglass (Louisville), Mario Urritta (Louisville), Malcom Kelly (Oklahoma), Robert Jordan (Cal), ect.

Help me out on some other WRs in college that some of you know about that I don't.

If Gleen can come back, think about a 3 WR set of TO, Jackson, and Gleen with Wittin at TE.

I like the idea of that kid that is 6'7" and runs 4.40. Can you imagine someone with Plaxico Burress' height and runs like that? We could finally do to other people what they constantly do to us with their big receivers and he legitimate deep speed. Yesssss Pinky we're going to take over the woooorld! :evil:
