I know some steeler fans that can get pretty rabid with there terrible towels.
All teams have a few wildmen, but how many fans have to go before a judge (complete with courtroom built in the stadium) for simply showing up at the games? ;)

It really depends on how one looks at the question. In terms of devotion to their team, Philadelphia fans are the best--probably the best in the league. If one were to gauge them by their respect for the rest of the league or even towards some of their fellow fans, they are the worst in all of sports.

Heh, Philly has a lot of thugs I'll give them that. I've still never met a truly hardcore Eagles fan, and that's saying a lot since I live in the northeast.

Igg fans are the only fans that keep a running total of their teams victories... I guess thats a replacement for the lack of SB victories!!!

Before McD got hurt last year Igg fan said they have outscorde their oppenents 2,362 to 123!

Most Igg fans dont recall much before the 2000 season... much like the 05 season!!!

Eagle fan and by a very large margin...the only crime is that in this poll the Skin fans or Giant fans got any votes at all.

Which fans do you guys think are the worst fans overall, as in arrogance and stuff like that.
There are different levels of "worse" IMO.

Fans in their stadium, by far the Eagles are the worst. My gosh they have jails and judges at the stadium.

Fans visiting this message board, by far right now the Commanders are the worst. They surpassed the Eagles fans who disappeared after we swept them and a lot of the new Commanders fans act like jerks here since they swept us in 2005. I think some of them know less about their own team than I'd be comfortable bragging about on someone else's turf. Yet they act like they know it all. I'll give the Eagles fans who used to be the jerks credit, they were never foolish about their own team.

It just depends on how you define "worse" and "worst."

Ever since having beer thrown on me @ the '04 MNF Eagles game, it's been difficult to have any respect for them...

but... the thought of the fans after that RW INT is priceless...

Actually I'd say it's because most Giants fans are also Yankees fans and more passionate about baseball.

I don't consider fans of other teams aggravating until they try to debate. I don't like interfan debates - it's stupid. I like the Cowboys because I like football, not vice versa. I have respect for all the organizations.

In fact, I'd have to say all fans who enjoy ragging other fans are equally annoying. watch your team, enjoy the game, and enjoy it with the other guy. It isn't a fan competition.

Therefore, my answer was Philly, simply because of their mob mentality when in their stadium.

One of my best friends from the early days is a Commander fan, and we've had alot of fun with it.

I can honestly say that I've never met an Eagles fan that I could stand to be in the same room as.

This is 100% on the money. All of my future wife's immediate family are Giants fans but they all have Yankee tats somewhere on their body.

No gmen tats, though. I'm always asking them about the NFC East and the most they can muster is that they know they won the division last year, and they think Strahan still will play for them this upcoming season.

Totally fairweather from my experience. They'd rather sit around and talk about Derek Jeter.

Eagles fans are generally thuggish in nature for my standards. There are plenty of good, smart fans....but there are just so many drunken jerks there it's outrageous.

I generally find Skins fans know very little about the game of football, or just on a basic, Pop Warner level. Over at Extremeskins and CPND most of the posters believe that your best CB should follow the opposing #1 WR for the entire game. That's blatantly untrue as the Lions Dre Bly finished with the highest percentage of times facing #1 WR's last year and that was only 64% of the time. The league average was 45% and the Skins themselves only had Shawn Springs on the #1 WR approximately 34% of the time last season. So they generally fall in that category it seems and they always like to use the "well, if Gibbs/Williams liked him...he'll work out just fine."

I grew up around Giants fans. The Giants used to be the state of NY's team back in the 80's, but now they've pretty much become more and more of New York City's team. The people and personalities are far different in say Brooklyn from Syracuse and thus you'll find a lot of different types of Giants fans. Basketball and baseball are the main sports in New York and I find that's where NY'ers generally excel at knowing about. Football is pretty much thought of at a basic level in Giants land, but they are generally good fans that I rarely have had a problem with.

Absolutely. NY is a basketball state first and a baseball state in a very close second. Problem is that they have very few college basketball programs and the Knicks suck (and I can't stand the Knicks anyway).

I went to college at Coastal Carolina University in South Carolina. They had some decent college basketball squads there, but I knew about 20 people from my hometown that either never did anything with their basketball careers after high school or played in some D-II or D-III school that could've easily started for CCU which is a D-I school playing in the Big South. And I'm from the central NY area which can't hold a candle to basketball talent in NYC.

High School football games rarely ever have more than 500 people in the stands where I'm from and all of the best athletes are usually working on their basketball and baseball game.

Philly fans are just misguided by their "Golden Standard" and this :trophy: (lots of Gold in there, huh...there is not even any Silver)?

RedStink fans are roaches...they only come out when they win a game or two...then here they are...little chests poking way out, looking for crumbs that anyone will toss their way....over here on a Cowboy board for the first time in 7 or 8 years yelling:yousuck: (but, that's what cowards do...when they know that they have been getting an azz kicking for all these years)!

Giant fans...never hear from them much...but ... :suxjints:

Cowboy fans? Maybe a little too proud...but, Cowboy fans are winners, that's why we like our team....:lombardi:
