Which Head Coach that is available is better than Garrett right now?

Yep. They see the gameday stuff. They see the clapping, and they see the robot press conferences and draw their conclusions based on that. Which is foolish, if you think about it. There's so much evidence re: what's really going on. It ought to be obvious to anybody who cares enough about the team to read here in the long offseasons.

Its only obvious to you guys. LOL

You are the only two that actually think Garrett is the GM here. Is that the WE you mean IDGIT?

I guess those scripted and gratuitous F bombs should have been the great equalizer.

What track record?

He was a defensive coordinator for three seasons and the Seahawks slipped significantly from where they were under Quinn and Gus Bradley.
Sherman, chancellor, and Thomas all missed time. D-line changing. We lose Sean Lee and it's apocalyptic. I'll take him over rod. Admittedly, he's done nothing here yet. We'll see

How long have you been a Cowboy fan?

You still aren’t grasping the argument. We aren’t getting what we want with Jerry.

We are not arguing about Jerry. I already told you that Jerry is a joke. We agreed on that.

You have also agreed that Garrett is a horrid gameday coach. What we dont agree on is that you think Garrett is the GM here. But at least you have IDGIT for support there.

I can deal with that perspective. A lot of people appear to think he is poised for takeover and glory follows.

And what vision is that?

Better direction? You mean one playoff win? You mean the total meltdown of the team last year?

Without Dak and Romo leading this team the last few years and into the next few years, this team would be anywhere from 4-12 to an 8-8 squad. Maybe worse with Garrett coaching.
What was our vision and direction before Garrett arrived ?

Never mind . You still aren’t getting Jerry’s agendas . And what that means.

But Jerry is why someone like Garrett is here.

I’m calling him a walk around GM because of his influence with Jerry in our culture and vision of how he wants the team built.

Has it produced as much success as we want ? No. Do we like the direction we’re headed? Yes

And why Jerry is staying the course.

There is no vision buddy. The only thing that has happened is that the drafts have gotten a little better and we got lucky with a 4th round pick in Dak.

Take away Dak and put in Kellen Moore and where is this franchise?

Please stop using the term walk around GM. It sounds silly. And what vision do you keep talking about? What culture are you talking about?

Would you like the direction if Kellen Moore was the QB? If Dak wasnt here in 2016 this team probably loses the first 6 games and Romo limps back to a squad alreay out of playoff contention. Scary scary stuff buddy.

Yep, which also nixes any silly theory that it was Garrett that brought in McClay.
Garrett didn’t bring in Will. He’s been in the Cowboy organization since the Desperados. But he has influenced his increased involvement.

Hitting Rock bottom might have actually served us better. We would have been in position for a top first round pick we could have taken a more elite QB.

Case in point about Garrett's ability to handle momentum.

The Rams game was replayed on NFLN today.

All people get from that game was the Switzer fumble.

Dallas was ahead 17-6 when it happened. The guy that talks incessantly about "stepping on their throat" got swept up by that.

Like when we had the 5th pick and took a back?

And would that QB have won rookie of the year and gone 22-10 his first two years?

No doubt you would be crying that he wasn't good enough.

Why is 22-10 without a playoff win impressive for Dak but not Garrett?

Duh..........because Dak is 23 years old and has only been in the league two years. LOL Hit the ground running and the Cowboys didn't miss a beat without Romo.

Isn’t it intetesting you’d use the example of our only 1st round bust with Garrett instead of all the Hits???

It's an obvious agenda and spin Roy.
