Which Jerry (Jones or Reese) would reject a Dez Bryant-Hakeem Nick trade?

Witten had one of his best seasons yet lol. Also, I agree Nicks is better NOW, but Dez will be better later.

Nicks is like a slightly shorter carbon copy of Dez. Dez is probably a little more electric with the ball in his hands but in terms of going up and getting the football it's pretty even. They're 2 of the most natural pass catchers in the game.

I don't know who I'd rather have, I believe Dez has a little more upside than Nicks but it's hard to dispute the production Nicks has already had.

Austin was pretty much a non factor last year. Robinson doesn't get those stats without that.

Dez may get those numbers. He just won't do it while Witten and Austin put up the numbers we expect too.

I agree, for the offense to reach it's potential Dez needs to step up and become the #1 guy in the passing game. Get the ball in your playmaker's hands. Witten is the definition of reliable but defenses don't fear him... they fear weapons like Dez.

Dez can be better when he is better but right now Nicks has been and is better and he is very good. Dez has better physical tools that means nothing unless you can produce with them.

I'd take Nicks now but hopefully Dez changes my opinion this year.

The stats aren't as far off as most are making it seem. Nicks has been better, yes, but not by much.

Anyone who thinks Nicks has clearly been better doesn't know what they're talking about. Dez has very comparable numbers. Nick has better numbers because he's thrown to more simple as that.

Dez has higher upside but not by a huge amount.

Nicks is a much surer thing in terms of off-field behaviour and in the ability to play in a complex pro offense.

I don't have an issue with Dez but I'd probably take the surer thing in Nicks.

I think Nicks is the better overall WR.

Bryant obviously has more athletic ability. But Nicks appears to be a more consistent route runner and has a better feel for the position.

In addition, there are fewer character concerns with Nicks. Bryant is far from a thug but he gets into just enough trouble to keep you on edge wondering what he'll do next.

So to answer the question, Jerry Reese would reject the trade.
