Barr is a solid player but man is he slow - can't catch either!Need LVE back and relatively healthy. I don't understand Quinn's desire to keep Parsons at DE. Seems like that should be a situational thing, i.e., the Eagles last drive Saturday. I bet Parsons is playing at nearly 10 pounds under his listed weight.
Barr can't be on the field for more than 30 snaps.
I like Gifford,he does seem to be in on a bunch of tackles,I know he made a big stop against the eagles, imo,I'd like to see him more on running downs, jmoQuinn doesn't like Cox as a player at all. That's become apparent. He plays Gifford over him.

Takk is listed as a LB because he last played in a 3-4 defense. He is a DE in Dallas.
The wildcard is Parsons. It appears he'll stay at DE but if they have issues at LB it is always an option to move him to LB on run downs. Played significant snaps at LB in the Packers game but primarily DE in most 2022 games before that and all games since.
Next season they might consider scheme changes to limit Parsons snaps at DE. Something similar to the front 5 of a 3-4. Quinn has dabbled with those types of looks in Dallas but never stayed with them.
I think it is dependent on other personnel. They would need more 3-4 OLB type players. Sam Williams played some snaps in college as a 3-4 OLB. Fowler has played 3-4 OLB in the NFL Same with Takk. They've had Armstrong occasionally drop into coverage. DLaw would play 5tech DE in those looks. All time sacks leader Bruce Smith was a 3-4 DE (5tech)...
Correct. Takk is a DE.Takk is a true DE. But if health permits LVE/Barr/Clark get the most reps. Gifford and Cox are the depth.

It's concerning their not even trying to develop Jabril anymore. Clark gets plenty of snaps, so he's getting developed. It must be something behind the scenes because they could use some of Jabril's skillset imo.
Barr, Clark n Gifford is the rotation until LVE is back. I'd like to see Henry play this game, so they can matchup with a top RB in the league.
Remember when Roquan Smith was available? He has turned the Ravens porous run defense into a top run defense since his acquisition. Instead Jerry has to look for another WR.
Yeah, I wonder about Cox.
You can't stop thinking about Cox.

Better question is, who's healthy enough to play?Who will we have for the playoffs?
I’d like to start with Parsons. Less at DE, where he wears down fighting guys that outweigh him by 70 pounds. Then we have LVE, our leading tackler (or so I heard), coming back for the playoffs. After that?
Barr
Clark?
Cox?
Gifford
Takk McKinley
Who else, and opinions on our best options?
Interested facts from ESPN article stating this year he has averaged 11.5 snap at linebacker and has 324 on the line as de. My concern is that Micah is like a rookie when we put him at on bc he lacks experience seeing the field from that position. If we move Micah now it may not be the beast that we have all come to know:/. We really need to move him to lb long term so we don’t break our new toy further than we already have. Just my opinionTakk is listed as a LB because he last played in a 3-4 defense. He is a DE in Dallas.
