Off topic but remember when T.J. Hockenson was traded for a couple of mid round picks? Would have been the next great TE here for a long time.

But hey, we have to keep those mid rounders for more Chauncey Golstons and Nahshon Wrights.

If the Cowboys had Smith that would of solidified this defense and the Cowboys wouldn't have to rely solely on Parsons. But nope, they would rather get Dak a shiny new toy on offense than help their star player on defense. And people wonder why I am always annoyed with Dak.

Takk is a true DE. But if health permits LVE/Barr/Clark get the most reps. Gifford and Cox are the depth.

I never went back and looked but I am curious how much underneath stuff got by because we didn't have LVE back there. I know a lot of it was playing too soft on the wrs. I realize that's tricky, but with qbs releasing the ball so quickly now we are going to have to press more.

It's concerning their not even trying to develop Jabril anymore. Clark gets plenty of snaps, so he's getting developed. It must be something behind the scenes because they could use some of Jabril's skillset imo.

Barr, Clark n Gifford is the rotation until LVE is back. I'd like to see Henry play this game, so they can matchup with a top RB in the league.

He was not playing LB on that play. LVE, Parsons and Neal were all on the field.
- Jabril replaced a CB on the goalline play.

Interested facts from ESPN article stating this year he has averaged 11.5 snap at linebacker and has 324 on the line as de. My concern is that Micah is like a rookie when we put him at on bc he lacks experience seeing the field from that position. If we move Micah now it may not be the beast that we have all come to know:/. We really need to move him to lb long term so we don’t break our new toy further than we already have. Just my opinion

He played the majority of snaps in 2021 at LB.
- He played DE in 4 games in 2021.
- He was often an edge pass rusher, but it was at a LB (4 other DL on the field).

I do agree that moving him now is probably not the best scenario; although, even with no practice he would be the best LB on the field.

They were extremely conservative in terms of pass rushing in the Eagles game.
- They played with a "run defense first" approach on 1st/2nd downs (i.e. Run downs).
- On a signaificant number of snaps Parsons wasn't even trying to pass rush. He was staying back to set the edge.
- If they're going to play that style, then might as well move him to LB on those downs.
- Their approach on defense was "stop the run at all costs and force QB Minshew to beat you".
- I assume that against better QBs they won't play as much of that style, but if they do...
