It's also kind of hard to speak to the eagles front office right now, considering it's very new (they changed things up this offseason).

Have we really reached the point where you guys actually believe the Cowboys are a good organization?

Considering you seem to want to go back in time only when it suits you, I will follow suit and say. 5 rings......Your response? That 1995 is now the cutoff.

I'm sure proud of those dusty rings. When we're still playing .500 football in 20 years, I'll be sure to look back on those with fond memories.

This whole question can be relative. For example, the Commanders FO is very effective at screwing up and making the other organizations in the division look great

We're all proud of those dusty rings. 12-4 is not .500. What have the Cowboys done for you lately? You should be happy the arrow is pointing upward.

Id rather blow dust off of championship rings then have absolutely no history to speak of. but hey thats just me. I only brought it up because you asked why 2008 was the cutoff then proceeded to bring up 1995. Seems like you are trying to use only facts that benefit your opinion instead of the truth. Which is fine. For an Eagles fan

I wish I were an Eagles fan, then I could've actually seen my team be dominant in my lifetime.

Im not even going to argue about that. Ive been watching football a long time. The Eagles had their chance. I would never call them dominant.

Is it really? The Cowboys have a QB who is near retirement, an inferior coach to the Eagles and a front office that is the epitome of mediocre. When I see the Cowboys consistently winning double digit games, I'll feel like it's pointing upward. Until then, I'm going to look at this team with skepticism. They've more than earned it.

And in the end, people remember Superbowl wins. The Eagles can hire as many Chip Kelly's as they want, blow up their team and try to contend for a championship. But they still aren't winning ****.

If I wasn't a Cowboys fan I'd have stopped following this team years ago, don't give me that spiel. They are nothing special, but I love them all the same.

PoundTheRock is the same guy who made a thread about how he wishes we could get out of Romo's contract so we could sign Eli Manning when his is up in 2016 and now wishes he were an eagles fan.

Honestly dude, you seem to like every team in the NFCE MORE than the Cowboys, why are you even here.

Eli Manning is a proven QB who actually gets results.

The Eagles are in my view a much better organization the Cowboys. I wish the Cowboys operated the way they did and committed to getting better on the field.

We don't know what kind of coach Kelly is. The Eagles have been pretty mediocre of late. Your agenda is showing.

I'd suggest that the Cowboys, Eagles and Giants are very close to being run at the same level. I'm not a fan of Reese, but he and Coughlin have done work and you can't argue results. I'm really interested in the Eagles - they are really active but not expensively so. I'm not sure I understand their thinking on the OL/evan Mathis, but that's the only real question mark in my head. They've certainly found ways to create turnover with low risk, which is impressive. The Cowboys have shown restraint, direction and purpose, and it's starting to pay. If the defense can perform and Romo stay healthy, we have a good looking year coming up.

Washington has clearly been deficient, but they are quietly not being stupid this offseason, which I find ominous.

At least we can agree on that. They're like the little brother franchise to the Cowboys, which is all kinds of sad given how mediocre we are.

How did you feel when the Cowboys avenged that Thanksgiving loss by going into Philly on a Sunday night and pretty much wiping the floor with the Eagles? Dez had 3 easy touchdowns. We let them know who was boss in that game. Did you enjoy yourself that night?
