No, schedule. Those 5 additional wins came against Cinci, Dallas, Pitt, San Fran and Philly. Their two other wins came against Philly and Dallas as well.
They got smoked by every competent offense they played, those games just all happened to be early in the season.
Every competent offense they played *with Haskins as QB blowing the game. 70 total passing yards against the Rams. 5 turnovers against the browns. Multiple turnovers against both the giants and the cardinals. But with Smith THEY were the team that first beat 11-0 Pittsburgh. And they came as close to beating The Bucs in the playoffs as GB did.
You can spin it any way you like, but when Haskins was in, even their D was dreadful because when he wasn’t going 3 and out, he was handing the opponents the ball in WAS territory. Having a QB this year who can put up points will be transformative for both sides of the ball.
