I'm not saying any of them will, but I think the player most likely to have a Sophomore Jinx is Chris Canty. I say that because he missed so much of the offseason last season that this is really his first offseason practicing. I only say Canty because it's hard to predict if his knee will react positively to the rigors of an offseason program.

Pettiti wolud be my second choice. Although this may sound a bit unfair since he was a low-round pick, I still think he has a lot to prove and improve on. Word is that he has come a long way since the end of the season, so here's to hoping he comes back and wins the RT job.

Well, considering Pettiti has nowhere to go but up, we can check him off the list

I'd say Ware, considering he was the only rookie with a big enough impact to really have a chance to have a sophmore slump

If anyone does, (Which I hope none of them do) I'd have to agree with HH31 for Ware. If they double team him like mad to take him out of the play I can se his production dropping off... BUt I hope the rest of them step up to where they can't afford to double Ware all the time. That would be wonderful.

Because Spears and Canty are both still doing pretty much what they did in college and because so much is expected of Ware, I think Ware would be the most likely of the 3 defensive players that you listed.

(I don't think Ware will have a slump, but of the 3 defensive players you listed, he's the most likely.)

I'd guess that Kevin Burnett is going to have a tougher time this year than Canty, Spears, and Ware.
