I wished I could say that, but I can not. I know me too well. If the Cowboys actually win their Division and make the NFC Championship game I will be expecting nothing less than a 6th Lombardi. :starspin
i thought the exact same thing..

I voted for Roy, but I don't see anything on that list happening...they all seem too far fetched.
I was almost tempted to say we'd win the SB before any of those guys would make the enormous strides it would take to win those awards.
NOt being negative, but I don't see any of those happening.
I dont know why any of them seem that far fetched..
Carpenter was a high draft pick that should be playing in a very good defense on a very good team opposite a very good player.. he has played in this system so he should come in more prepared than most rookies..
Roy came in 2nd in DPOY voting his second year.. he is considered one of the best players in the NFL.. he is the best and most dominant and most visible player on what should be a very good defense..
Ware again is going to be in a very good defense, and he will probably post some very very gaudy numbers, especially sack numbers, which are the most sexy stats.. He should be even better this year with a year of learning a new position under his belt and with Carpenter playing opposite him..
Bledsoe was putting up very good numbers last year before Flozell Adams got hurt.. he now has TO, one of the best recievers in the league, along with Terry Glenn, Jason Witten, and Anthony Fasano.. he has aarguably more weapons than any quarterback and a healthy Adams, a healthy Rivera, and a much better right tackle..
TO is quite possibly the most visible player in the league.. that can be bad if he acts up, but if he turns his attitude around AND has a lights out year on the field, he will be given much of the credit if the Cowboys are one of the top teams in the NFL..
Julius Jones has shown star potential.. if he can stay healthy, he could finally have his breakout year.. teams will no longer be able to key in on the run, which will help Julius a ton.. if we see the Julius of the second half of 2004, he has a very good chance to win the rushing title..
The Cowboys have as good a chance as any team to win the Super Bowl this year.. they were a few kicks away from a 12-4 season last year.. they dominated the NFC Champion Seahawks for 55 minutes.. they beat up on AFC runner up Broncos for most of my Thanksgiving dinner.. they were in every single game but one last year.. and this year they have added Terrell Owens, Mike Vanderjagt, and shored up every area of need and have key players returning from injuries..
