Now that you know the direction they've taken with the offense and that it will be all Mike McCarthy, which do you prefer?

I'd like to see the new offense with Mike McCarthy. It's a shame Jerry is on this 30-year plan to win a super bowl, but at least we know we're close  hell I paid off my house sooner then that;)it's a pity, we could have already seen it had Jerry not handcuffed Mike with Kellen. This is what happens when you hire a head coach but hire his offensive coordinator first and tell him it's best this way for terminology sake.

Let's hope Mike is as sick of those stick routes as we are.

A mix of both...depending on the personnel on the field, how the Oline/running game is performing, how well our receivers are getting open, and what kind of Defense our opponents are lining up.

Sure seems like if you want your offense to be current and fresh you'd prefer Kellen Moore over Mike McCarthy.

I think McCarthy's a very good head coach but I'm concerned that we took a step back on offense with this move. It's not like this is his first year in Dallas and he has time. This pretty much has to work out of the box or he's going to be next year's scapegoat and we start over.

And you all will be crying "dinosaur" when that happens.

On the other hand, I think McCarthy is a very good offensive coach and he's had enough time here to know the personnel and what they can and can't do.

It can work but I wouldn't have done this. When you can produce the 2nd best offense in the league over your 4 years with this talent, you are an overachiever as a coordinator who should have plenty of job security here.

I appreciate McCarthy wanting to take it on. If your job is on the line, and it probably is, you don't want someone else running the offense when that's your background.

He's going to sink or swim running it his way. I'm not particularly optimistic, but that's been my feeling with this team for some time now.

It really shouldn't be a make or break year. It almost definitely is but I don't think it's fair.

Hard decision considering that MM was fired for his bland, predictable offense in GB. Rodger’s play-changing and play-making ability is the only thing that allowed MM to hold on to his job those last few years in GB.

Kellen’s offense worked. To put all the blame on the #1 ranked offense is a little severe.

McCarthy got play calling stripped in GB and it ultimately got him fired. The devil you know vs the devil you don’t.
I know you’re fair, but if an Eagle fan’s preference is Moore, I wonder…

I think we're going to find out that the problem was *not* the OC.

Moore had his limitations, but often it was just Dak failing to execute or read the open WR.

And why do we think that McCarthy is the answer? Why did he *stop* calling plays for Rodgers? Because he was just too good that it wasn't fair to other teams?

If KM was your OC, he'd make Hurts sit back and pass on 2nd 2 with an empty set. Hurts would maybe get to rush few times near the goal line, but it would be an afterthought. KM would try to make Hurts into the next Wince or Foles.

I highly doubt, your EaGirls would be going to the SB if KM was your OC this year.

The only defense for Kellen is that our offense was highly ranked. Hard to argue that, right?
Yet, how many of you were really impressed with the actual scheme?
Why could we never run a successful screen with a RB?
Why did every trick play end with negative yards?
Why did our offense disappear in most big games?
Kellen rarely ran rub routes or crossing pattern to scheme receivers open.
The scheme and play calling were extremely vanilla.
