which one would you pick?

i think mcneil is the best of the bunch, but don't think he will be there when we pick. what i don't wantr to do is draft a ot because we need a ot. draft the best player availible who remotely fits your needs. i'd rather get another t.e if he's good than a bad ot

I have a slight interest in Eric Winston, but he seems to be injury prone and my interest is waning. At one point he was really highly rated. He might be the climber that happens at every draft or he could plummet. I really think it will be one or the other with him and depends entirely on the Sr. bowls and Combines.

I'd love Marcus McNeil because he's huge and plays nasty. I think that nasty style is what separates good from great in the NFL.

Some drafts rate Scott real high. I am not near as comfortable with him.

The best OT is D'Brickashaw Ferguson but he will be the top OL picked.

Whitworth is also out there and the kid from SC is there as well. There are 7 lagit LT prospects out there IMO. That doesn't include Blalock who is a RT.

Not apposed to it at all...I just hate draft talk in the same sentence as play-off push talk.

To me talking draft right now is like saying the season is over already.

But USC linemen get me nervous...ya know...LOL Never the less, I haven't started my scouting yet...haven't had a chance to watch much college football this year.

Me too! Too early. Let's talk FA after the season, then turn to the draft.

None, as I feel that it would be a complete waste of a pick in the first round to take an OL. Mind you Flozell will be back next year and Pettiti im sure will work in the offeseason and improve even more. I feel that we should either look WR or SS in the first round.

Mcneil is the only one i would draft in the first round. the other ones are solid.....but i just dont know if they are worth a 1st?

...Has some medical issues with his back and neck that will have to be cleared...Will get caught leaning...May lack a nasty demeanor and killer instinct...Will get lazy and lose concentration at times...Needs to refine and become more consistent with his technique...Is not as explosive as you would expect a guy with his dimensions to be.

.
These two things scare the crap out of me. 1) medical issues 2) lazy and no mean streak.

I'd love Whitworth actually.

Go back to back LSU with him and Landry as the top 2 picks and I'd do cartwheels.

I like Eric Winston and if he falls to #32 I would consider him....
I think Center will be our biggest need on the OLine .
I feel A good off season for Pettiti and Flo back next year will fix the Tackle spot...

I would consider Winston or Mcneil.
But I agree that C is our biggest OL need. I think Flo comes back and Pettiti gets better in the offseason. Tucker is still a backup. I'm okay with that. We were doing great with Flo even if we had to help Pettiti out some.
I think C has hamstrung our running game. Al can't get it done run blocking and Gurode can't figure things out. When you're rotating players 50/50, its because you don't have one guy that's getting it done for you. Neither of those guys are getting it done. There aren't any C's in this draft that are any better. All of them are small like Al. Bentley should be our top offseason signing.
I think we're gonna need BPA in the first...a LB (Carpenter?) WR (Holmes?) or FS (Huff, Bing, Landry?). I think we need a OG more than a T in this draft. A guy like Davin Joseph would be a good one who may drop because he had to move to T this past season. I don't know that Peterman is legit or not but I do know that both Rivera and LA are old.

Winston easily

Agreed. Guy's a complete left tackle. McNeill and Scott play the position with their size and reach. They don't move much if they don't have to. Winston does it with his footwork and technique.

If all 3 are there, I go with Eric Winston without hesitation.

If you could just combine Johnson and Gurode we would have a player....

You are right , This seems like a weak draft for centers and I think L.Bentley should be number one priority...

Johnson is killing the running game the middle is collasping almost every play and if the backs can't get started then they can go any where.

One center I like in the draft is Degory out of Florida....
I did not see Florida play this year at all ,but last year he looked pretty good and I think he has some size.
