I just want to see everyone stay healthy. That's most of what I care about until September rolls around haha.

Other than that, the skill position battles are always fun to watch. I want to see how the young secondary fares against Dez, Cole, and Switz. I can easily see a couple scuffles occurring in camp because of how scrappy most of the young guys play. Should be fun.

Not a player, but both schemes see how aggressive we are

That's kind of an odd comparison. I don't think Switz is playing any RB and
Montgomery is 216 lbs and 6ft.
There have been opinions on Switz in the third down RB role, I never posted anything regarding that, but I replied only in reference to WR filling that role, like Montgomery. TM is bigger than Switz, so I never saw it really, but we shall see.

So who you got your eye on early?
Yes there are many areas on this roster that will provide some serious camp battles, and interest to those keeping an eye out, but I'm asking if you don't have the time or resources to be in Oxnard, which player are you really wanting to see do something from your resources at hand, mainly internet, tweets, etc.. having a first hand Oxnard view is not available to most, including myself, so having said that, which player are you looking for info on early with your resources at hand.

I'm stepping outside the box, and looking at camp from the back end of the roster first,, different approach but I will start crossing guys off my final 53 with this approach...
So my guy early is Sammy Seamster. I'm eliminating camp bodies first, its the easy way,, but is Seamster just a camp body,,, I'm keeping an eye on this first evaluation.
I find Sammy Seamster to be a very intriguing player, a player that really has a chance, but is very unknown to this point by many.

For me, Jaylon Smith could be the key to the entire defense; the difference between a top 10 unit and somewhere in the middle of the pack; no lower than 19th and no higher than 11th in final ranking. Suffice to say, I will be following that story extremely closely throughout camp and preseason.

Beyond that, I think you have to look at the secondary and defensive line as a whole. What do we have? How will the coaches work in the rookies if none of them actually start? Of the rookies available, including Tapper, Taco is the most likely to start, but that is far from a foregone conclusion. The Cowboys have a logjam at the moment on defense line, especially for the RE spot. As a result, Taco may slide over to what I believe is his more natural position LE. If that happens, he will most likely be rotating in on behalf of Demarcus Lawrence.

The only thing I want to know about the offense is rather or not they still have their 2016 unstoppable mojo? Beyond that, my predominant focus will most certainly be on the defensive side of the ball. Their production will ultimately decide if the Cowboys have a realistic shot at a championship.

Taco- First round success is key to winning sustainability in the NFL, He has potential to be a star, and potential to be a JAG/bust. He is going against Tyron in practice, so preseason games are the best way to gauge which he will be. And of course, the regular season is when we will know for sure. If he isn't starting day one, I think it will say a lot about how the coaches feel about him. I know....I know, "rookie," "inexperience," "learning curve," and all of that, but if he is stud he starts day one. And if he is not a stud, they could have done better in round one. And for those reasons, I'm watching how he does.

LG.... think Green wins it
The SWITZ.....think he gets carries as 3rd dn back
#cleareyeview........gotta see to believe
Our entire secondary......think 3 rooks end up starting week 1
Noah Brown..... Gonna be a surprise
I like everything you wrote only difference is I got Cooper over Green. Seems like he started putting that top 10 talent to work and between Tyron and Frederick I will excel.

3 that I am really interested in seeing how they are doing is Jaylon Smith, Tapper and Charlton. Not to say I am uninterested in the rest of these 3 are critical to upgrading this defense.

Lucky whitehead. I'm watching him and hoping that switzer makes him redundant, especially after the theft charge

Rico Gathers....

If he's even remotely a threat, he can can be the guy that pushes this offense over the top. Patriots/Pittsburgh type dangerous

The guy with a noticeable limp...

That sucks....

I know that limp..

Whenever I get injured and try to rush back to play ball at the gym again, if I'm not confident of even a slight discomfort, I start to favor the other foot/ leg just like he is

Jaylon. Most talented player on the D if he can get back to his old self. And if he's not back to his old self, how close is he? He has a chance to be the most impactful new defensive player and that's where we need the most help.
