My targets are 6 players within 3 positions (there would be a 7th player-4th position if Lane Johnson fell)
no particular order
1. Warmack
2. Cooper
3. Lotulelei
4. Richardson
5. Floyd
6. Vacarro

I'll take any of those accept Vacarro. Also the DE's that may fall like Werner or Moore wouldn't hurt my feelings. Even Jarvis Jones if he fell.

We're in a great spot this year.

I think they will choose Tavon Austin over reaching for lesser tackle or guard. I believe the top 3 tackles and two guards will be off the board and Vaccaro too. I'm not saying they need him but if faced with him, I think they will bite.

Not necessarily a fan of drafting a guy in the first round who's basically never going to anything more than a #2 unless Dez were to get hurt or leave the team.

I watched Broaddus' draft show at dc.com and he really was down on Werner. He said he doesn't have that tight edge rush that scouts look for and that the other guy Tank Carradine did. He said Werner was easy to block and that he made his plays when they didn't block him. Jones is just too small and slow.

Werner seems like a steady pro who will never get a ton of sacks but will be a starter. I'm sure he'll be fine for some team, but he really doesn't excite me either.

I don't necessarily get too hung up on BPA. It's far too subjective and really it's only going to pay off provided you can even make the correct evaluation as to who BPA is. I think it has more value in the later rounds.

Odds are, when you're picking outside of the Top 10 (and more likely Top 5) that there are a number of players who could be BPA. I would bet at the 10th pick that a league wide poll would produce at least 5 different players. Can't all be right.

On the nosey.

Safety or guard. Almost certain it will be safety.

Wonder what are the odds that Vacarro, Cooper and Warmack are gone at 18? Then what are the odds that all the DTs, Floyd, Star and Richardson are gon as well. Because if all 6 are gone, I'd be sad

So what you're saying is he's destined to be a pretty good player that is under appreciated by fans?

Agree with Broaddus. But anyone should be able to see that. I expect better prospects to be around at 47 than Werner. Yup, seriously.

To answer the question in this thread, I still think they go S (Vaccaro). Maybe even in a trade down (Cyprien, if Vaccaro is off at 18). Hopefully I'm wrong. I want OL or DL in the first round.

Anyone of these in the first round, would be awesome.

What I honestly expect is a trade down to the mid 20s and, when the players they've targeted are all gone, a trade out of the first altogether...

Personally I find it very hard to believe that two guards will be taken in the top 17. I wouldn't be shocked if we had our choice of either at 18. Vaccarro will be gone by then so if they want him that bad, trade up is going to have to happen. IMHO

DT.

Can't count on Rat lasting all year, and Hatch as well. Rat is also at the end of the line.
