Which position scares you the most on this current roster?

The title asks about positions, then the OP not only names position groups instead, but picks nearly every one of them on the team.

Answering the actual question in the title, the specific positions that give me most concern are, in order:

LT, RT; Mike LB; weak side Edge.

There are a few areas of concern but I agree with eh OP that CB is probably the most concerning. I might have said the entire secondary had they not drafted Downs.

Edge, DT, LB, CB, S

T, RB, TE

Cornerback/Edge positional groups worry me the most:

-They have a lot of young, unproven talent that are in that developmental stage. EZ, Lawrence, Revel, Carson, Moore. What is their plan if they are slow to develop?

-As we all know, Edge position has a steep learning curve from college to the pro level. Most take 2-3 years to become productive players. We have to keep low expectations from Lawrence in his rookie season and EZ missing the entire offseason will hurt his development. Will they be better or worse then last season generating pressure?

-Corner remains fully of question marks: Can Bland return to form, will he even be healthy to play a full season? Revel is basically a green rookie after missing most of last season. Carson is another one who has struggled to stay healthy but also has struggles against deep speed. Durant the new comer probably has the least issues. I am just not sure if this team has a true #1 corner on this roster.
Left OT. A liability at LT can be a season ender. We need a strong healthy year from Guyton

Quickest route to get to Dak: Center.

If Beebe goes down with injury, we've got no one who can play Center not even at an average level. The one guy who could and did play Center very well (Brock Hoffman), Jerry got super greedy and let go simply because Jerry refused to pay him $2 million/season as a new contract. How stupid and greedy can you get?

Everyone had best pray and hope Beebe stays healthy. If not, we are all going to learn very quickly which is the quickest and easiest way to disrupt a highly powered scoring Offense and the QB: through the Center.

Dumb idiots who own this team never learn!
:mad::banghead:

After the entire defense except DT, I would say the oline is the only thing holding back the offense.

Honestly, it was bad last year and it wasn’t just the tackles. Our NFL record contract interior lineman was quite average, alongside Beebe and Booker. Smith was the biggest disappointment on the offense imo.

We didn’t have a single offensive lineman who came even close in playing at a pro bowl level, let alone all-pro.

Dak got knocked around a lot and we’re lucky he didn’t get hurt. Thankfully last year he had lost weight and gained strength, which helped.

Most hits he suffered since 2017.

To be honest? QB

I’m worried about Dak not getting it done in January.

It’s easily offensive tackle for me.

If that position struggles, it could potentially cost you your starting quarterback. And if that happens, the season is over.

I’m cautiously optimistic that both Guyton and Steele will improve, but also concerned if that doesn’t happen.
I agree but the interior OLine is very strong.

Are you saying DLine or just talking rushers? I think the Eagles are much better at edge rushers.

Watching super bowl winners in general. I can't even think of the last super bowl winner that didn't collapse the pocket.

Manalive, did you watch the super bowl? Those DTs were in Mahomes's face at the snap. I'm pretty sure you already know there's no real way to measure this. The DTs collapse the pocket, the edges get the sacks and the DBs get the picks. Always been that way.

A huge part of NE even making the super bowl was Milton Williams. Gotta have the beasts up front, which affects the D at every level.
What’s crazy is Milton Williams didn’t even start for Philly. Their 4th DT was ranked in the top 25 that year too (Ojomo). The Eagles were so stacked at DT that year.

And when Milton left(along w/ a few others), major dropoff on D.

QB everyday
While I always have my doubts about Dak I don't think he's a glaring issue until he's needed to be the difference, then I have no confidence he'll come through. Not that he never does but you can't count on him not to fold. I don't think the rest of the team is good enough to get us to that point. Besides WR I don't think we are SET anywhere.
