Which position scares you the most on this current roster?

This can be dissected several ways.
As every position will have concerns. Most of them at backups.

Offense:
QB: Dak goes down, does anyone believe Howel or Milton can get the job done.
RB: More so who steps up to be #2, and can he be consistent.
TE: How will the truly be behind Ferguson, and some are not so high even on him.
OL: Many still say Steele and Guyton, will either improve, stay healthy. And yes, it is a concern. Is it as much as some make it out to be?
WR: This is the least concern of any positional group.

Defense:
Too many unknowns with all the changes, both players and coaches
CB: Seems they have some depth on paper. Need to see how they play.
S: This seems it can be a strength for once.
DT: This too, seems to be one of the better positional groups, for once.
MLB: A work in progress, but a much more viable group on paper than last year, who steps up.
OLB / DE: This as well, same as MLB, who steps up, what will the rotation be like. But same, much better than last year.

ST's:
Really no concerns here except KO and PR coverage, can it improve.
Will Turpin be 100%. As I do not believe he was last year.

Coaching:
2nd year under Brian's offense so thing should be more instinctive now.
New defense yet again, however, many are excited over Parker and his new coaching staff.
Different positions are easier to step into than others. It's hard to have two quality QBs. Best you can hope for is a guy that can play good enough to get by a few games until they dissect his weakness. RB there are usually acceptable players there or available. Especially if it's later in the season where an FA with fresh legs can play half a season. Oline you are either good enough or you are going to get abused. Dline and corner scheme can help a lot.

At least 2 good ones. They only have 1 proven RB right now. He goes down and the offense is suddenly 1 dimensional.
I don't think we have a real stud at RB. Teams pick their poison and have to figure out how to stop the passing game. That makes running easier.

But you use sacks? When a sack can occur from coverage or 6 seconds after hiking the football.

I’m confused so you are saying they don’t need pressure from the edges?
Doesn't pressure have to happen within 2.5 seconds? Or is that only when they blame someone for allowing it? Not disagreeing with you. Just trying to clarify for myself.

While I always have my doubts about Dak I don't think he's a glaring issue until he's needed to be the difference, then I have no confidence he'll come through. Not that he never does but you can't count on him not to fold. I don't think the rest of the team is good enough to get us to that point. Besides WR I don't think we are SET anywhere.
I don't think we're set there but we're fine, good points you've made

So you believe he can lead the Cowboys to a championship?

No? Then it's a glaring issue. If the most important position on the team can't, it's time to look for a QB that can. The last thing you want to do is franchise tag and then make him the highest paid player in the history of the league. That's just doubling down on stoopid.

Only 8 RB's had more yards than Williams. Only 6 more averaged more yards per game.
I saw a guy who looked pretty average running the ball. Yards, just because it's easy to look up, doesn't make it the end all stat.

Yards? No, RBs don’t need yards. We should measure their worth by how many pancakes they have for the season. Lol

I don't think it's going to come to Dak leading or not.

You should try and watch some football games with good RBs. It'll give you some perspective.

So you’re saying they don’t get graded on pancakes? I’ll have to catch a couple of games this year then maybe I can learn. Lol
