Which prospect would you stand on the table for? (Not in top 10)

Ken Grant...I dont care who is already here and how much money is commited ro them. He will make the middle of the D Line better.

Shavon Revel...if he is healthy looks like a physical version of Diggs.

Nohl Williams....dawg and play maker. Everuthing you love in a CB.

Teddye Buchanon....instinctive and physical
They have shown interest with all of them except Williams that I have seen throughout the process.

I blame Marinelli for convincing them you don't need a high end 1T.
I think it goes farther back than Marinelli… all the way back to Jerry not feeling he got his bang for the buck with Russel Maryland!
I doubt dropping a pick on Mazi has helped!
In fact, even when they took Mazi, Jerry almost immediately came out and said he had the flex ability to also play 3T… like he has this deep ingrained belief the position lacks importance and he had to justify to the fan base taking the position high!

I was same this prior to fa, was one of the top priorities and they just sign Campbell who has become a journeyman.
Yeah, just because they addressed the position with another jag doesn't mean anything.
But in management's eyes they see it as a hole filled.

So much poor evaluation going on.

Morrison would also be on my list if he gets a clean bill of health, but that seems far fetched at this juncture.
Morrison is very good in man, something I don't think we are going to play a ton of here.

In the later rounds, I would stand on the table for Devin Neal. I watched that kid just beat the piss out of Colorado and had another good game against a decent ISU team. I don't care if we take a RB early, I'd take Neal late as well.

Excluding the top 10 prospects, which prospect or prospects would say WE HAVE TO DRAFT?

Carson Schwesinger LB-his instincts are on par with Sean Lee.
Tyleik Williams DT-a big, athletic, run stuffing NT that this team has lacks for years. Nobody ran against OSU.
If this draft does not have Barkley on our mind, then it is not going to make much of a difference.

Pass2Run and I touched on this briefly in another post.

My answer to the OP is any combination of DTs that closely resembles Jordan Davis and Jalen Carter.
There might not be exact replicas in this draft but there are plenty of almost as goods. Copycat league and all.
But Mazi and Odiggy definitely ain't the answer.

Fix the run defense UP FRONT at the first level and the whole complexion of the defense changes.
And presto, the team actually can contend in the playoffs again.

So yeah, keep drafting those wide outs and corners that are awesome at stopping the run lemme tell ya, lol.

Draft 2 impact DTs.
Early.
This draft has them.
Jordan Davis should be more of a cautionary tale than an example…he’s not very good and plays less than 40% of snaps. That was a bad investment by the Eagles and Davis likely won’t make it to his 5th year option.
And that cautionary tale is…don’t overdraft guys just because they are big. Mazi is another example

Not sure if serious.
Mazi is garbage no doubt.
But off the top of my head and staying just in the NFC East, both Davis and Dexter Lawrence of the Giants are beasts and true difference makers at the 1 tech position.

Unless you want to continue with a bunch of light in the *** d linemen continuing to get run over like the Cowboys non run stopping d tackles the past decade or more...

You could say the same about Revel. Think Eberflus is going to mix and match his coverages, won't be as rigid as Marinelli was.

You clearly didn’t watch the Eagles play. Because if you did you would know that Davis was often 4th on the Eagles in snaps played at DT(some guy named Moro Ojomo played the same amount) . He’s a replaceable run stopper that plays 20-25 snaps a game, which is absolutely horrific value for a top 15 pick

Usually those big bodied boys are labeled 2 down players whose snap counts are regulated as to their effectiveness.
Value based off performance can be debated as to what was done during those limited opportunities.

I see Jordan Davis's performance during his snaps as excellent.

You don't value the 1 tech position and it's impact on team success as I do.
Difference of opinion. No worries.
Plenty of others here don't believe run stopping 1 techs are important to team success.

And only Roseman knows if Davis will get an extension when time comes, I'll leave that to him.
