We'll never be able to get Brady...might as well take him off of that list.

Give me Brohm or Stanton.
You never know what can happen though.

If we can't get Brady, Brian Brohm is strong and very accurate.

He's a Jr., he's got all the measurables, he's playing in a big time Pro Style offense and his team is currently unbeaten.

He's currently completing 63% of his passes, he's got 13 TDs against 4 INTs and his QB rating is 135.22.

If he decides to come out, he's going to be rated highly.

There are a few others

Palko (Pitt)
Henne (Mich)
Booty (USC)
Russell (LSU)

Just to name a few. There are really only a couple I would consider in the 1st round and it's not likely, IMO, that we see those guys. I mean, if Quinn should somehow fall to us, then sure but chances are probably not great.

To be honest, I'd rather take the best LT prospect in the draft and pick up a QB in the 2nd or so.
To be honest I don't trust any college qbs once they hit the NFL, their college accolades goes out the window.

As for Palko, Henne, and Russell I'll pass on all of them I just don't trust Henne because he's a Michigan QB, and the best Wolverine QB, was Brady, Griese, Henson, and Navarre are flops.

No way on Palko...he is so over rated IMO.

Russell interests me for some reason but I have to admit I only get to see one or two LSU games a year.
Big Strong and seems to do well when I have seen him.

This kid is my choice...he should be there in the late first or early second round. Give me Romo and another promising QB, add a decent vet and we are good.

I'd like to have a QB problem...you know a situation where you have two GOOD QB's, so who do you play???

It's a pipe dream I know. For now go Romo and stay healthy...
yea i think Palmer and Romo would be a good QB problem to have especially if Romo gets better from here on out

Actually, Griese has not been all that bad a Pro QB. They also produced Harbaugh and Grbach but if you look at Henne over the course of his Career, he's put up decent numbers. You figure he plays in a run oriented offense in against tough comp year in and year out. He could be a pretty good one IMO.

i think we need a line to protect 1 of these poor kids

The heck with them...work it out or they will go down trying.

Just Kidding.

I agree we need to fix this o-line once and for all.

Overspend, draft, do whatever it takes.

If we do that the rest will fall into place.

I would love to have John David Booty, but I just don't see him entering the draft. I think he'll stay there for one more year.

I mentioned earlier that he interests me. Big, Strong arm, seems to have improved a great deal each year, seems to have good ratings and TD/INT ratios.

I have not seen enough of him to see if his pocket presence is good but he has impressed me the few times I have seen him.

I would like to hear what TunaHelper (LSU Fan) has to say about him.

The thing I do like about Palko is his TD to INT ratio. In his first two seasons, he's thrown 41 TDs against 16 INTs. This year, so far, he's thrown 18 TDs against 3 INTs with games left. To me, that is pretty impressive.

However, he is not my favorite either.

I would mess myself (in a good way) if we drafted Brohm. But I will hold out hope that Romo shows us we don't need to use a first on a QB, and we pick one up in the middle rounds.

I prefer Palmer over him, russell has lost both his big games this year and i may be wrong but i dont see him as a good leader

Absolutely Jamarcus Russell, he is my choice after Quinn, and since we have no shot at Quinn i say Russell. He is probably a 2nd round pick just b/c of the hype of all the other QBs in the draft, and like it has been said he is big, throws missiles, VERY accurate when scrambling.

I think he can become a very good QB in the NFL.

I say monster LT or RT in 1st, Russell in 2nd
