Which starter would not start

Steele and Bland for dam sure. What's going on with Eze? Please let me know forum.

Steeles biggest issue is pass protection. The league has a shortage of tackles that can really play well. My guess is he would start somewhere, even if forced to as back up. But his run nlocking is far better.

Here's a clip from Duke Manyweather from yesterday's game to highlight that.

Thanks for being the voice of reason. I coached Oline for years. Steele would start on a number of teams.

The key is Guyton. If Guyton continues to play solidly, Steele is not a big problem. Steele is very good in the run game, and while he struggles with pass protection, RT, if you have a right-handed QB, is the position to have a plus-run-block guy and a minus-pass-pro guy, as long as you don't need to protect your LT.

for any other NFL team:

1. Jake Ferguson
2. Donavan Ezeiruaku
3. Terence Steele
Ferg is a good, mid to high level TE. Pure fan stupidity having him on this list. Eze doesn't start anywhere else and Steele might not be on a roster anywhere else! LOL

Bland should improve

He was never meant to be a CB1. With Porter and Durant outside he should improve in the slot
I agree with this.
We are stuck with Bland this season, but his best position is the slot. When Durant returns he will likely move there,
That being said I think we cut him in the off-season, we can save 13 mil in cap with a June 1 cut and what we are paying him is too much for a slot CB.
Steele is horrible (we already knew that) but Jerry reworked his deal so we are stuck with him not just this year but next year too. Ridiculous Jerry move because his ego in involved.
Winters is an end of the roster depth piece, he's only in there because we whiffed in FA as LB.
EZ is still developing and at least is a rotational guy (and cheap).

They all probably start somewhere else.

This is not a Kenneth Murray situation.
K. Murray started for the Texans yesterday, only because their other LB was injured. I don't recall him doing anything noteworthy, though. LOL

Glad you caught that! It just further proves the point that there are plenty of jobs in the NFL.

Everyone here would think Murray should be out of the league.

Everyone would agree that the three players listed in the OP are better than Murray.

Murray started yesterday, albeit in place of an injury.
