Which two do you take?

You are putting a rookie ahead of him, though. Doesn't make any sense. I know you guys hate the Commanders around here, and I certainly don't blame you, but Moss by himself is top 5 in the NFL. Colston is having a decent year, but Lloyd has had a couple of those in the NFL now. Randle El's versatility and Super Bowl ring vault him ahead of ANY rookie WR.

Plus, in discussions like this I'm assuming you take QB play out of the equation. You think Harrison/Wayne would be one of the best with Brunell @ QB?

Santana Moss is not top 5 by himself. He had a great year last season, but there are more than 5 guys better than him in the NFL. Torry Holt, Marvin Harrison, T.O., Steve Smith, Chad Johnson come to mind off the top of my head. Then there is Randy Moss, Reggie Wayne, Larry Fitzgerald, Anquan Boldin, Joe Horn and even Rod Smith competing along with Santana for spots 6 thru 10.

Colston is having a good year, but it is still early in his career. I am sure a few teams are kicking themselves for passing on him. I was surprised he dropped to 7th. I figured he was a 4th or 5th rounder. Still hard to rank a rookie too high so early in the season.

Even with Brunell, I bet Harrison/Wayne would still be good. They run their routes to perfection and are able to make plays after the catch. They are just disciplined route runners, something Lloyd or Randle-El don't have. I don't know what Randle-El's Super Bowl ring has anything to do with it. Hinez Ward was the main receiver on the team. Sure, he's good for gadget plays, but that doesn't make him a top receiver.

LLoyd's best year was 48 catches for 733 yards with 5 TDs.(16 games)
Currently, Colston has 33 catches for 577 yards and 6 TDs. (7 games)

edit-

I'm not saying Colston is an elite WR. I'm saying he makes a very good complimentary receiver to Joe Horn.
