I still had a wonderful time at Soldier Field. Special stadium. Firstly, I'm mainly here in Chicago for a furry convention and the Cowboys were intended to be an added bonus lol. The convention is a lot of fun, and I've got a lot of friends at this convention. At about 4:30 local time, I took the train to the stadium.

In the pregame, I got to go to the set and I saw Michael Irvin. Didn't talk much to him, but got a wave and a thumbs up from him. Nice guy! The picture was from where I was standing. I got on camera several times, including with my tail on a few occasions and my facepaint cuz I don't have a fursuit yet lol.

Steve Smith and I actually had a pretty good little chat. He saw my tail and had a chuckle. I briefly explained that I'm a furry, and he liked my tail and gave me a thumbs up. And the camera guy seemed to really like having a furry near the set, cuz he got me on camera and tried on several other occasions to get me on TV.

Then the game went on. Now, this is where I'll share a few thoughts about that.

Firstly, the Bears fans were very nice and classy to me. They made me feel welcome despite being an away fan. I enjoyed the first TD, and then wasn't too happy with the rest of the performance. I felt that we looked horribly coached as always. I couldn't make heads or tails as to what Garrett was thinking on some of the game. I appreciated the challenge that got the interception, but blimey he was bad the rest of the game. We DESPERATELY need a new kicker!!!!! From what I saw, I truly think we'd have gone to overtime if he'd have made that field goal. And kicking the ball out of bounds on a kickoff in the NFL is just pathetic!! Absolutely pathetic!! That set up the TD that just about put the game out of reach. And his onsides kick was awful. I don't know what the FO sees in him. He's just flat out terrible!!!

Dak started well, but then went downhill, and our fearless leaders in our coaching staff made no adjustments to counter the Bears adjustments to Dak. For some reason, we didn't use Zeke nearly enough! He had the Bears on their back foot!!!!! He was getting pretty good yardage overall I thought.

As I said I would on a post here, I led a Fire Garrett chant in the 3rd Quarter which spilled into the 4th Quarter. The group of Cowboys fans I was sitting with joined in, and I even managed to get a group of Bears fans to join in. They were enjoying the chant too and gave me a high five for starting the chant.

Now, one of the other nice things about Bears fans is that both of our fan bases agree, I think, that we really don't like the Packers. And there was a Packers fan who attended the game. As we were walking to the bus stop from the stadium, there was an entire group of us chanting "Green Bay Sucks!" Bears and Cowboys fans chanted that in unison!

When I got back to the convention center, my furry friends were waiting for me with open arms and welcomed me back. Im going to go back to the convention shortly. Hopefully you all enjoyed this. Sorry for the lengthy post, but I'm really enjoying Chicago! Go Cowboys and Fire Garrett!!

Since Steve Smith and I live in the same city, I've interacted with him numerous times and he's a funny guy. Really energetic and passionate about the game.

That's cool!! I noticed that about him. He seemed passionate about the game from when I was listening in to his conversations when the cameras were on. When the cameras were off, he was funny. And he's a cool guy.

And in fact, I should add that the people here in Chicago, beyond just my fellow furries, I've found to be extremely nice people! Haven't had an issue with anyone here.

I’ve been to two Cowboys games at Soldier Field and the fans were very friendly both times

Glad at least the experience was good even if the game wasn’t

Yup, it was, and I've found that Bears fans are very classy. Could be worse. I could've been watching it at the Linc.

Well at least you had a good time despite our loss. Honestly, at this point, losing is better for us in the long run.

I actually said that to one of the Bears fans and he laughed at that and said, "Yeah, we're doing you a favor here".

I have to ask, even though I know I shouldn't. But what the hell is a furry?

Basically, we're fans of anthropomorphic art. Basically, animals with human characteristics. We basically take our favourite animal or animals, give them our favourite traits and what we'd imagine ourselves to be if we were a cartoon animal, and that's a fursona. It's a lot of fun! Fursuits are expensive though.

Actually, my fursona is a horse, but I decked out with my fox tail and paint on my nose. I'll be doing that again today as well.

Awesome. A buddy of mine is a fox. I don't really get it, but the pics from the convention look pretty awesome.
