While we wait for draft day

While we wait for draft day and just for fun, do you think we should target Archie Manning next year? I'm guessing we would either need a terrible season this year or some kind of Jedi magic to have a shot at what maybe the number one pick in 2027, IMHO it appears he could be a great one, good strong arm, can run when needed, definitely needs some really good tutoring I can definitely see him with a Star on his helmet and you know Jerry is salivating for obvious reasons beyond his playing ability.

Archie or any top qb yes. 2027 should be the year you draft daks replacement.

Jerry wouldn't allow the team to be bad enough for the 1st overall pick and he sure wouldn't trade future draft capital to move up to draft a QB.

If he actually ends up living up to the hype it's nearly impossible for us to get him. We don't own the higher of our two picks next year. Outside of a Dak injury this FO isn't going QB in the next couple years.

We have the latter of our pick or Green Bays so it likely won't be early enough to even think about Manning.

No! However, the 1st year that Dak is gone, they'll almost be forced to Tank because they'll likely have over 100M in dead-money on the cap.
