Dak ain't gonna learn from anyone else how not to panic, feel the pressure, move in the pocket or read defenses....it's all on him and i guess after 7 seasons he ain't gonna get better. He is what he is. A QB coach would be just a waste of money by Jerry and that may be why there is no apparent urgency on his part right now. Using that money to restock his JWB cabinet in his yacht.

An exorcist may be a better option.

Moore and Dak were a bad fit for each other. That being said, I think it's too late to fix Dak. Breaking his ankle broke his brain. He plays scared and rushed too often now and gets into his own head. He's not going to change.

i thought i heard Bobby Belt mentioned Scott Tolzien as a "possible" QB coach,... already on the staff,.. " on the job training " ?
Former NFL backup to Aaron Rodgers.

Otherwise it's likely to be a near future announced QB coach ...as well as future RB coach as well.

I'm amazed that there's not a new WR coach announced as well,
They are pleased with TE coach Lunda Wells.

Breaking the ankle isn’t the problem. Something happened to his processing after he came back from the calf and teams played him a certain way. I don’t get how he can be lights out one game vs TB and complete dog ** the rest of the way. Hope a new QB coach figures it out. If it’s Tolzien I have no hope.

Hey.

Just spitballin here.

Anyone given any thought to the idea that currently unemployed former Florida coach... and former Mississippi State coach... and thus, former head coach to Dak, who cut his teeth in college coaching as a QB coach... Dan Mullen... could be on the list of candidates?

Now, I kinda figure if he was target #1, we'd have already heard about it, and he might already have been hired. But it seems reasonable to have him on the radar, nonetheless. If indeed Dak is feeling any raw emotions from his OC and QB coaches being let go, it might be a redeeming factor to bring in someone for whom he feels a special bond.

To me if he sets his feet when not scrambling he’s more accurate. Waiting for. Window with non seperating receivers seems to cause him
To forget his mechanics.

Mahomes was a baseball player so used to throwing to a small space with just his arm . Plus receivers schemed open

Maybe he’d do it to be an OC but not just the QB coach.

Hard to speak with any confidence on that... not like he's actually employed right now other than TV booth.

Actually, for me, it's less about whether he'd be interested, it's more about whether McC would be willing to consider someone he doesn't already know and trust.

Has there been any official word on who will be QB coach? I know Tolzien was rumored. To me this position is way more important than OC
McCarthy...

They likely get someone with limited experience that just follows McCarthy's instructions.

Maybe Cooper Rush should transition to being a QB coach.
Dak has already said he's learned from watching Rush play.

It is the most important position on staff. Getting Dak’s eyes and mechanics right during the season when he can’t go to the live in QB coach like he does in the summer
It’s been 7 years … i think his eyes and mechanics are not going to change much at this point.
