It is the most important position on staff. Getting Dak’s eyes and mechanics right during the season when he can’t go to the live in QB coach like he does in the summer
could be the jones boys dont see it as all that important?
Or they are trying to get someone specific.
Dak needs someone good, but no telling who they hire.
How about sanchez, who was in daks ear in 2016 ?

Hey.

Just spitballin here.

Anyone given any thought to the idea that currently unemployed former Florida coach... and former Mississippi State coach... and thus, former head coach to Dak, who cut his teeth in college coaching as a QB coach... Dan Mullen... could be on the list of candidates?

Now, I kinda figure if he was target #1, we'd have already heard about it, and he might already have been hired. But it seems reasonable to have him on the radar, nonetheless. If indeed Dak is feeling any raw emotions from his OC and QB coaches being let go, it might be a redeeming factor to bring in someone for whom he feels a special bond.
that makes too much sense lol, no way jones boys or MM do that.

Honestly, I'd love to see Byron Leftwich here. He was a rising coach who took a fall when the Bucs collapsed. Former QB with OC experience is a great hire.

Gotta say, Mullen really impressed me as a game analyst in the booth. He might have a real future there.
well this is they type of guy jones boys or mike should be going for.
I dont get the whole I worked with them before thing.
they should be going for the best candidate for that job, and someone who could help dak be better.

Moore and Dak were a bad fit for each other. That being said, I think it's too late to fix Dak. Breaking his ankle broke his brain. He plays scared and rushed too often now and gets into his own head. He's not going to change.
That is just dumb. Moore got hurt and served as Dak's mentor and a de factor QC coach when he was a rookie. Dude was a huge influence on Dak's development, that season and beyond. Those relationships just wear out.

Then why didn't Moore make adjustments when Dak struggled? Why did Dak fail to be able to adjust to Moore's system enough to go through the progressions and only focused on a couple of guys half the time? Moore was a bad fit for Dak as an OC. I didn't say anything about as a QB coach. Sometimes a system and QB don't mesh perfectly well. So yeah, they were a bad fit for each other. The results speak for themselves in the playoffs and against teams with any halfway decent defense. They were only a high ranking offense because they ran the score and yards up against terrible defenses.

Dak's mentally broken and Moore is gone. We'll see what happens next. Maybe Dak can figure out why he can't consistently show, maybe not...but it's clear that having Moore and Dak wasn't going to work or Moore would still be here.
