Did you really feel the need to start a whole new sky is falling thread on this subject??????

Yes .... its what he has been doing since he signed up.

He makes multiple threads ..... gets most of the board laughing at him ..... gets real close to the Mods calling him a troll ...... then disappears a few days till the heat dies down ..... then repeats.

Typical Drive-By Troll

Did you see him play when Culpepper left? He had control of that team during a time when it was falling apart.... he didn't look old doing it, either.

Oh, and his days with Carter, Moss and Reed were awesome to watch. He's got the Xs and Os down better than most starters--an he's our back up.

Sucks he was always injured.

:)

Yes, very true.

What most don't get is how the big stage affects a QB. I can remember when Romo first started in his first preseason game. Everything he did was wrong, lol. In a backup give me a vet that has A)been there done that and B)knows what it takes to win a superbowl.

Can't be any worse than going into a season with Hugh Millen as your backup, as we did in '93.

... equally important, the things you do so you won't lose like take a sack. I'm with you 100%. There is a REASON he is with us. And its a good one, I think.

I know Brad has won a SB, but has he ever made the pro bowl?

It never fails. The respectable posters make good opinions and don't freak out. The unrespectable posters turn into Chicken Little and must bash someone without looking at the bigger picture.

The thing is we have to play much different with Brad, it's going to be about defense, the running game, and the short passing game. they have to p[lay mistake free.

We can survive a 5 or 6 week loss of Romo, if the defense was really playing well I could see this team having the talent to make the Super Bowl (not likely, but possible). The Giants scored 17 points against us last yr, the only really good offense in the NFC will be Dallas and New Orleans, other teams I think will be inconsistent.

I just can't see this team (without Romo) win against whichever team comes out of the AFC. Those teams just have too much offense....

Haha, yeah. So is Edunce a Texan fan now? And Anthony Henry sucks.

Do not know ..... the Mods called him out and he ran away instead of answering them .....

He will probably show up again the minute he thinks Henry does something wrong.

Speaking of which. I thought Henry played well in the short time he was in there. Making a tackle at the goal line was pretty nice.

Pro Bowl is overrated. I think he did make one though.

EDIT: It was twice. '99 and '02.

BJ played just fine considering heplayed with the 2nd team OL and had heat all game long...

Are you saying the OL depth is suspect ?

As a whole, yes they didn't look all that good but how many times does your ENTIRE oline get hurt for the ENTIRE backup oline has to play. Our 2nd team oline is just fine if they have to fill in with a player here or there.

I am saying this though, our 1st team O and D was absolutely DOMINANT and pushed the Chargers around the field when both 1st teams were out there.
