The knock on Peppers was that he was a hybrid player and the issue is what position do you play him at?

He does have athleticism and football ability but he is below average in coverage which is problematic for a S in todays game!

He is too small to play LB at 215 and would be eaten up by blocks.

Brugler was saying on the Draft show that some coaches may look at him as a RB.

And yet Brugler has him ranked 32nd on his board right now. So the Cowboys thinking he's the 28th best player and worthy of the 28th pick isn't exactly some tragedy here even using Brugler's logic.

Like Brugler said, a team would have to have a plan in place for Peppers, what position is he going to play?

If he is to be a S, his coverage is a liability and he may be too small to play LB.

I think Brugler is ranking him on his athleticism as a football player because even he does not know where to play him in the NFL.

He thinks if you have a plan for him and leave him in one spot, he may flourish but his flaws are evident.

He's more than fine in coverage as a SS, especially as we use ours.

Some team is going to hit a HR with Peppers in this draft if he slides.

He may be if someone finds him a home that fits, only time will tell.

Rasul Douglas CB West Virginia 8 INTs in 2016 led the nation.

Donald Payne S Stetson has over 500 career tackles

No mention of Desmond King who has 17 INT's the past 3 years? People are going to knock him because he's not 6'+ and doesn't run a 4.4 40 but the kid can flat out ball. If he really falls to the 2nd/3rd I think he'd be a steal.

He's also being projected to FS, so not only short but speed on outside is suspect. Although he's the perfect zone corner IMO. Likes contact.

I think Cam Sutton from TN in the 4th would be a good pick. After we address pass rush in first three rounds.
