Who are the team targets past the top 10?

With two 1st rd picks, the team could just draft two best players off their board or even trade back later in the round if not further. What prospects after the top 10 will they be targeting:

Cornerback-Hood, Johnson, Terrell, Cisse all were 30 day visitors.
Edge-Faulk, Parker, Howell, Mesidor, Lawrence, Young are apart of a deep class, where they will be flying off the board
Safety-Thienneman, McNeil-Warren, Scott/Stukes (Hybrids)
Linebacker-Rodriguez, Allen, Hill (Late in the rd at the earliest)

Like all four players! With the depth at corner/edge you would think those are the areas they would address if stay pat.

Faulk / Thieneman would probably be my target at 12 if we are wiped out and cant trade down.

I’m greedy as well and want a safety, MLB, and OLB edge, but we HAVE to get a MLB. I can’t see a decent one being there at 92.

Honestly it’s why trading down makes the most sense if they can.

If there are no first round graded defenders left at 12 then trade down.

Trade down with 20 if you can because the players available at 20 will be the same
Grades As ones available at 30.

Who are some prospects we aren’t talking about enough? We’ve heard Dallas loves Tennessee cornerback Colton Hood, but anyone flying under the radar?


This is a fun one. I think Miami defensive end Akheem Mesidor, San Diego State cornerback Chris Johnson and Miami cornerback Keionte Scott are all defenders whom Cowboys fans should monitor. Of course, the top four of LSU cornerback Mansoor Delane, Downs, Styles and Bain are names to watch, too. And if the Cowboys get to No. 20 and still haven’t taken a defensive back, I would definitely pencil in Hood.

Drafting a linebacker in round 1 is not good for how depleted this defense is.

I think ultimately LB is going to be a post draft thing. They have engaged with Miami about Brooks. Al Shaiir is being dangled in trade. There could be more names after the draft.

I wouldn't be surprised if they wind up punting in the top 120, take one with one of the 5ths to develop along with James, then trade for a starter after the draft

Might not at all. I think LB could be the best post draft market. There are already two 2025 Pro Bowlers (one a 2025 All Pro) on the trading block
