I do want the Eagles to the take division. It just only qualifies the Vikings to take the Giants to the woodchipper. Oh my what a site that would be!

There is still the possibility of Cowboys sneaking into the 2nd seed and thereby gaining a first weekend bye.

So for this weekend we need the following:

Chicago to beat Minn.
Carolina to beat NY
and Denver to beat Philthy
and of course
the COWBOYS to make Snyder and his new GM cry at the situation in D.C.
Make them rename their stadium to DC stadium. That's Dallas Cowboy stadium in Washington DC.
I want to see a 63-0 score this weekend and see how many skins get thrown out for fighting because they are embarrassed.

Philly losing doesn't help us assuming we beat the Skins. But it certainly don't hurt so go Broncos.

i really believe we can beat the skins. i really hope that the vikings can beat the giants cause i do not see us beating the eagles twice this year. we have only won two games against the eagles in a season once in the last ten years i believe. i will have to check on that. so the odds are against us so we will need help to reach the playoffs.

I honestly do not care about any other team. If Dallas wins both of their final 2 games we are in as the NFC East Champions. That is all I really care about. The rest of it is fluff.

I agree 99%.

The other 1%, Man , I would love to see the gints go down.

I don't like using the word ,but I hate that team with a passion.

I hate to say it but we want the EaGirls to win this weekend. EaGirls' win will give us better chance for the Viking to play the starter against the Giants.

EaGirls' win this week doesn't change anything for us as far as the NFCE division is concern because whether they win or lose, we still have to beat them next week to win the division.

I think that scenario is likely, but I'll be rooting for Denver and Carolina so that Dallas could still win the division if they lose to Washington.

I think Dallas will win 27-6 over Washington, but it's a weird series.

not if the Giants win out. Then even if we beat PHI, it'll be a 3-way tie, and PHI and NYG in, DAL out.

But, you're right, if the Giants lose, then we can still win the Division with a WAS loss. If they win out, and we lose to WAS, we are out.

I'm not one for counting on other teams to win, so here's to hoping/wishing/wanting the Boys to win out and claim the NFC East title.

Man, we can't lose again, because I dont see NY losing again.

I like where we're at controlling our own destiny, but if we slip up and need help from NY we dont deserve to be in anyway.

Well, with Dallas playing at night, Sunday afternoon will be spent watching other teams. We need to have a favorite just to whet our appetite for the big game later on. NYG should win easily against Carolina. I'll be rooting for Carolina. Since I hate Philadelphia, I'm rooting for anybody they play, but Denver will be my favorite Sunday. Green Bay should have it easy against Seattle, but Seattle may be trying to prove their loss to Tampa was a fluke. Go 'Hawks!

Minnesota will have to prove their loss to Carolina was a fluke, and Favre has to show he has enough left to take the team into the playoffs. Lovie will coach the Bears to victory before bowing out as head coach.

There's that word again. I don't see the AZ Cardinals apologizing for being in a weak division, and entering the playoffs, and eventually the Super Bowl after finishing 2008 at 9-7.

:bang2:

I have no problem with backing into the playoffs so long as we win a game upon getting in.

I'm rooting for the Cowboys, and whoever is playing against the Giants, Eagles, Vikings, Packers, and Cardinals.

...oh, and I'll also be cheering for the Bucs. Even though they don't stand a chance against the Saints.

I would rather GB win if NYG wins or else GB is out, and it'll be NYG, PHI, and DAL in the playoffs (granted we win out). YES/NO?

Philly, I'll go with the Eagles for now to guarantee Minnesota has something to play for in week 17. The Eagles losing only benefits us if we lose. It could hurt us if the Vikings win.

We root for Dallas and whoever our rivals are playing. Just like it should be, could care less if the Packers win/lose.

I still think the Steelers find someway to make the playoffs.

My sister lives just outside of Baltimore. I call her a "traitor" because she has become a Ravens fan since she moved there. I could NEVER turn my back on the Cowboys no matter where I lived. I pull for the Steelers every time they play the Ravens just to irritate her ;)
