I think they keep 9 or 10 to start, depending on CB's, RB's, WR, TE positions too, as to how many they keep. They will say the best 53, not a certain set number at positions though.

T. Crawford, Thornton, Mayowa, Irving, Russell, Tapper, J. Crawford, T. McClain. These are my 8. Collins would be in here, but for now I will have him on PUP.
However I think they go 9, then add Walker, unless Coe shows more. Also add McAdoo if they keep 10.

Who goes when DLaw and Gregory return, as well as Collins.
If 9 or 10 are on the roster, then McAdoo and Walker. However, McClain seems to always have an injury, so he may go or be on IR.
If only keep 8, then McClain and J. Crawford.

I really think they keep at least 9 once it's all settled.
Lawrence, Gregory, T. Crawford, Thornton, Mayowa, Irving, Russell, Tapper, Collins. If a 10th is kept, then McClain if healthy. Coe to PS, possibly McAdoo or Walker.

i hope we pup collins to give him enough recovery time unlike dez.
when collins return, i guess one other person may be released - hopefully practice squad etc.
or injuries may take care of the extra slots

I think we've almost learned to forget him due to his injuries, etc. You're right though and esp if they PUP Collins.

Even with your optimism timeline, he's out for all of camp.

A big man coming back from a broken foot will be in terrible condition. He can't do the conditioning work with a broken foot. Even given your timeline we are looking at a player who can go more than a down or two in a series. He'd be useless if we had to call on him to take half the snaps. So useless that he's not going to be active
