I think he was referring to guys who actually may be gone like Miles who may be a potential cap casualty or Spencer who will be a free agent. That's how I took it anyway.

Same, least afford to lose is different than losing to an injury. This goes for players in contract years and coaches, IMO anyways.

I say Kiffin. Marinelli is a good coach on his way to great, especially after a couple more seasons learning from Monte.

Marinelli could be a DC right now if he wanted to.
He wanted to reunite with Kiffin.

I don't think he is a threat to leave unless it is to be a head coach for a talented team.
I think we got very lucky with this one.

I agree. We can't afford to lose Marinelli. I think he stays though because he will be heir as DC here once Kifff can longer call the plays.
