The HC is responsible for the whole team. Bad game/clock management, non-existent in game adjustments on both Offense AND defense. Having no feel for the flow of a game at all. Having no situational football sense (detroit). Backup players not being prepared when their numbers are called.

I think most of what you say here is silly, but the bolded part is especially silly. Are you kidding me? They played 20 different defensive linemen this year. I think they did quite well with a bunch of fill-ins.

Yeah its silly how a 3rd string player on the pats knows what he's doing and yet they don't on dallas. You are a joke.

So we're going to hire someone to help with JG's time issues? More "training" ???

If he hasn't learned by now, he never will. He's been playing/coaching for more than 20 years now. One more year isn't going to make a difference. That's just wishful thinking.

Well…they tried that with Dan Reeves and Jason said it would hurt his feelings.

Jerry thinks he is the HC anyway and Jason is just the OC so this is all by the cowboy way.

hardly how that went down. It was actually language in contract jerry drew up that turned Reeves off. Whats next it was Garrett fault for 'the catch' against 49ers.

Spot on. In my opinion, most around here are missing the forest for the trees when it comes to the state of our team.

Well Jerry said he didnt want to get rid of Garrett because he doesnt want another team to get the benefit of Garrett learning from all of the "miscues" and "sideline errors" Garrett has committed. We have spent to much time training him.

So exactly what is Jerry talking about if these "miscues" and errors that have costed us games dont exist as you are suggesting?

From your post I get the sense that you dont think playcalling or game management is a major issue with this team, so what are the problems and "growing pains during the training process" that Jerry is talking about with Garrett?

Serious question, I am not trying to call you out or put you on the spot, I am simply asking what you think Jerry is referring to by all of these "errors" that Garrett has committed that we are going to benefit in the future from if play calling and game management are not among those problems, as you say.

I really don't care what he means. If I know anything about Jerry, he is probably responding to all the hooplah of media types, and fans. (He has rabbit ears when it comes to what is said in the media) The problem on this team is overestimated talent (especially beyond the star skill players), depth and injuries.
