Who cut Poots?

I am about to go release a Poots? So I guess I did. hehehehe

Have some respect for a guy who just lost his chance to sit at the throne of great Cowboys receivers.

Yeah, I do feel bad for the guy. He played hard. In the games you could tell that Garrett didn't want poots to come out.

Yeah, if he made the team, I think a name change should be in his contract, you've seen what his own fans do to him...

C'mon, is he really going to bring honor and respect to the Poots legacy?

Just abandon that goal, and becoming a Dallas Cowboy then becomes a possibility.

I'm sure there are many career fields he can do well in, but trying to make one on a nationally televised stage where your last name must be sewn onto the back of your shirt is NOT one of them..

( I realize you were piling on, so... uh... yeah.)

Poots was playing out of position. He was better fit to play out of a Tight End spot.

He'd have to change it to something that would make him less of a target.....like Howie Fartz or John Tooter.

Poots should never play TE, WR is certainly his best position.

Most Fans routed for Poots all the way, sometimes it's better just to cut the young ones loose.

If Dallas can land Poots on the Practice Squad, everything with come out better in the end.

At least the Jets didn't sign him. They'd be already sniffing around our Poots, trying to get whiff of the game plan.

Gold I tell ya, gold.

Poots's chances were really dragged down by the hangers on he was surrounded with since he emerged as a potential windfall of talent to Dallas. Although he was far from a solid performer, you could see right through to his core and recognize where the talent had come from.

Threads like these alone make CZ worth it. This and draw Wade in MS Paint = The best threads ever.

You didn't read any of the other responses, did you?

Personally, I thought Poots was the bomb. In the end, I guess he just wasn't solid enough. I hope his career doesn't end up in toilet.

I'm mad! It stinks that we let him go. I guess he was always on the bubble, and it was only a matter of time before he was squeezed out. If only we had held him in, he could have eventually turned into a great #2.
LOL
