I have a feeling Orlando has a lot of respect from players and coaches around the league. Probably has their vote but until he has the INTs he'll miss it. Needs a big performance in a nationally televised gam

I was looking through the pro bowl voting, the only corner listed for Dallas is Carr! Scandrick isnt even a option

Romo, Frederick, Tyron Smith, Murray, Dez, Bailey and McClain all deserve to make the Pro Bowl.
Murray could be in connection for Offensive Player of the Year or Player of the Year.
Martin deserves ROTY considerations or OROTY if he doesn't win the overall award. And he definitely should be on the all-rookie team.
McClain should be considered for Comeback Player of the Year. In fact, he should be the leading candidate for the award.

Will be fun to re-visit this closer to the end of the season, for now, just really happy with the results. Will definitely look at individual stuff much, much later ...

Pro-Bowl idea: Get rid of the voting. Just go with the x-number of top rated PFF players at each position.

Defense: Nobody

Offense: Murray and Dez are earning it. I don't know where PFT or any other site are ranking the Cowboys O-lineman, but every time I notice the rookie, it seems like he's kicking someone's butt. Tyron might get the nod because of hype though. The Pro Bowl usually awards guys a year or two after they deserve it, unless they have monsters years. Romo may earn it, but people hate him, including a chunk of Cowboys fans, so I'm assuming he won't make it unless he really lights teams up in the 2nd half of the season AND Dallas keeps rolling. Witten might get in based on years of excellence and the Witten love train that the media has been on board with this season.

Special Teams: Lord Bailey

Does not matter since they will not be able to play in the game since it is the week before the SB and they will be busy. lol

I think your list is good but would also add Tyron Smith to it

Romo, Murray, Tyron, Dez, Frederick, Bailey with Scandrick as a sleeper. I think Martin misses out being rookie

Tyron and Murray being first team All Pros, Bryant and Frederick as 2nd team.

Murray as OMVP

Nah, Martin is getting a lot of props, precisely because he's a rookie. Props = Recognition = Pro Bowl

My list...

Romo, Murray, Dez, Tyron, Frederick, Martin, McClain (Rolando), Scandrick, Bailey. Not quite the 13 or whatever the heck we had in 2007 but not bad!

Ya fair enough, not directed towards you, just saying in general it's a popularity contest that shouldn't be focused on as much as it is

Yea but if we go just all pro it's probably just Murray bailey and Frederick so I opened it up to PB. :p

Nobody deserves an award yet. The season is not even half over yet.

Martin should win OROY but he won't. Aside from Watkins, I'd be hard pressed to find a rookie on either side of the ball playing better than Martin.

The Pro-Bowl is a joke. All-Pro is what people should focus on.

So voting by mediots who vote for guys at positions they don't even play is better than voting by players and coaches who vote somewhat by reputation?

I hope we dont get the 13. I think thats what did the team in that year. It went to their heads

A third of voting power held by fans is too much. Contrary to popular belief most analyst in the media are not idiots, the majority of them do actually know what they're talking about. Most of them know more than any fan. Victor Cruz made the pro bowl over Dez in 2013. That should tell you all you need to know

Hopefully the players will be playing in the Super Bowl and get to miss out on that silly little Pro-Bowl game.
