Who do you consider the Face of the Cowboys??

There is no "I" in team ...

No, but every team has an identity, of sorts. To me, the face of the team kinda represents that.

BP isn't really a Cowboy.
And no current player is really a great player and seen as a team leader.
The 'face' of the Cowboys has to be Jerry.

none what so ever Sarge.... ;)
Unfortunately, you guys are speaking from the heart, and as guys who go back in the history of the game....the truly sad thing is that there is an entire new generation of teenaged fans who don't even know who Tom Landry is.

He can be the foundation/Icon of everything good about the Cowboys franchise, past and present....but unfortunately, he cannot be considered the current face of the Cowboys (sniff, sniff)...we are faceless because we don't have any True SuperStars or Leaders...yet. Even those who mention Roy have to realize that most Dallas fans wouldn't even know him without his helmit....yet.

Who's the face of the Cowboys? Watch any sports center segmant and you'll see who it is. People may not like it but it doesn't change the reality of it.

The question wasn't who is the 'current' face of the Cowboys - it was who 'is' the face of the Cowboys.

I could give a rats bare *** if the teenagers don't know who Tom Landry is/was. That is their loss quite frankly.

If the question is, who is the 'current' face of the Cowboys, I'd agree. We are 'faceless' at this point. I have a feeling Julius may have aomething to say about that someday soon.

I wish we had a young QB that we could annoint, but............that's another story.

Tom Landry is THE face of the Cowboys - - - period.

Ok I am going to break the mold. To me I really feel like Larry Allen is the face of the team. He does not say much but he has always gotten the job done. Right now I do not think we have a "Face" for the cowboys as far as player, so I am going to go with the unsung hero of an OL.

I agree that it is BP.

JJ? one more yr like the 2nd half of last yr and he is easily the face of the franchise but not at this point.

Roy? Had he followed up on his awesome rookie yr with another great seaaon than he is the easy choice. Slippped a bit and was exposed in coverage. Not making excuses as he is in good position for a comeback yr w/ the additions around him.

Witten? Since he is the TE just dont see him as the face of the franchise. Nothing against his talent as I am not worried about him one bit..just that he doesn't play a position that is synomous w/ the face of a franchise.

Larry Allen or Laroi would be my darkhorses but I think its Parcells at this pt.

last year was his 3rd year.
