Who do you think and who do you want in the draft

Nobody who might go into the NFL's substance abuse program before he even enters the league. Sorry Peppers/Foster. Been burned too many times to even take that chance.

McDowell? Not interested in someone who played last season like he didn't want to be there. Two years ago (when MSU was winning) , he went balls out. Last year left people questioning his desire to play football.

Taco? Seriously? How many LDEs does Dallas need? What will we do with David Irving? Do we move DLaw back to the right side?

Don't want anyone who's not going to be ready to play a full 16 games. As talented as Takk is, that talent is of no use of he's on PUP.

My top choice would be Watt, but I don't think he'll be there. Barnett and Haris will probably be gone before Watt, though I'd love to have either one.

I like Adoree Jackson, but he's not a 1st-rounder. If he's being judged strictly on his CB skills, he's be a late-2nd rounder, and probably in play for Dallas at #60. His return ability. however, will elevate his stock up into the early 2nd. I'd be thriled if Dallas could swing a trade beck into the early 2nd, take Jackson, and add another pick in the process. Are you listening, Cleveland or Jacksonville?

Bowser is in the same boat. Not a true first-rounder, but he's rising on the boards.

So, what I want it Watt (if we stay put) or Jackson (in a trade back scenario). I think Dallas goes with Bowser, however, if they can't work a deal.

My eyes tell me he is one of those "I'm simply better than you no matter what I'm doing" athletes that are truly rare, and his mannerisms tell me he knows he's gifted.

He is a bit small, but he is one hell of a football player no matter where he lines up. He's a smaller version of Charles Woodson and what a grab he would be @ 28 imo

Just woke up from a dream that the front office selected 3 guys I don't know in the first 3 rounds. In the dream I wasn't the slightest bit mad. I just started researching the players.

The front office has earned my trust over the last half decade or so.

Realistic want: Barnett/McDowell/Peppers

He has the speed, and is tough running the ball, and good at int's.

I liked what I saw, he is a player, and versatile.
And he "fights!" JG should like that.
This is the type of player that dallas has not had for long time.

There's about a half dozen draft candidates I'd be satisfied with but the one that'd ring my bell the most would be Barnett. Seeing as how he'll likely be unavailable, I'd gladly settle for any one of the other studs we've been considering. Taco Charlton or Charles Harris leading the rest of the pack. I wouldn't be surprised if any one of them might be an upgrade over what we have in house, with the possible exception of Tapper.

Any one of the hot CBs like Jackson, Tabor, Humphrey, Wilson, Cordrea Tankersley, Desmond King, Kevin King, Awuzie or Tredavious White would suite my druthers as an appreciable upgrade to those we currently have.

At safety, Markus Williams, Marcus Maye or Justin Evans would be suitable in lieu of Adams, Hooker or even the all-purpose Peppers, who might develop into a good one, given time to finally concentrate upon one position.

I do think there's a lot of depth and I'm hoping that 2 or 3 more teams reach for one of the quarterbacks. I seen a thing this morning that 4 could go in the first round. Good. That would mean more players for the Cowboys to choose from.

yea, picking at 28 means two things.

i won't see who we pick until tomorrow.
many players we want are likely to be gone by then.

really won't know who to focus on until around pick 20 comes in and we start seeing how things may unfold based on the night so far.
