I liked what I saw, he is a player, and versatile.
And he "fights!" JG should like that.
This is the type of player that dallas has not had for long time.

I'm calling a trade down to pick up an extra 3rd and a 5th. All the talk about this being a good year to stay put was just sending a message to all the teams they have been talking to to throw in that extra 5th round pick. I think the 2 or 3 players they really want and would take at 28 will be gone.

If Conley is guilty then that of course would change my opinion of him but with the information available to the public right now I would feel comfortable taking this risk.

I have thought the same thing about Watt. He seems like a LBer who would be out of place in Dallas. Especially if we hope he becomes a pass rusher from the DE position. Just as a LBer in the 4-3 I don't see what's so exciting about him. As a DE I don't see him being big enough to be the guy we need.

yes I havent looked at the def ends, it is hard to evaluate them, but this guy just showed a lot of traits I like.
He is a playmaker, just what dallas needs on def, on offense and in return game, 3 facets, he is like getting 3 players.

I saw a few mock drafts, and they showed tenn taking him at around 15 though.

I am ok with Harris, Watt or McKinley. I think both Harris & Watt will be off board by 28. Dallas will have to make decision on McKinley (who I think has highest upside of the 3) but might start year on PUP. I do think Dallas needs to bite the bullet & take DE in 1st even if better CB is on the board. Then go CB in 2nd & 3rd round. 4th round I take OL.

I think it's definitely a CB, but I don't think it will be Adoree Jackson.

He's a good player and brings the return ability, but I really see Dallas wanting one of the run support CBs. I like Humphry.
Yes, we need a pass rush more than cover guys, but at pick 28, we are much more thin at CB than DE. We have DE's out the butt, and I'm not seeing a stud at 28. I think we go CB first, a guy who can play right away if needed. We will pick up a DE later...a speed guy is probably more situational.
