Any of those DT.

I'll say it now....so short sighted. Your gonna get an impact DT in the 4th and 5th round...this class in that deep.

Maliek Collins DT Nebraska
Charles Tapper DE/DT Oklahoma
Willie Henry DT Michigan
Hassan Ridgeway DT Texas
D.J.Pettway DT Alabama
David Onyemata DT Manitoba
Quinton Jefferson DT Maryland
Ronald Blair DE/DT Appalachian St.
Lawrence Thomas LDE/DT Michigan St.
Nile Lawrence-Stample NT UFS

But to answer the question @ 34.....

BPA

Out of all the mock sims I've been doing....It usually boils down too....Neal, Joseph, Ogbah, Doctson

DE or CB for me. Jackson III would be really nice. Ogbah, Nassib, Bullard, Artie Burns...

No particular order---CB, SS, DT, Edge Rusher, LB, RB, C/G...and QB if they didn't draft one.

A receiver or Karl Joseph, but hopefully Joseph can fall to our 3rd.

Robert nkemdiche
Noah spence
Jaylon smith
Trade down net a 3rd and 5th

I am not touching Smith until there's more news on his knee. 34th pick is a valuable pick and to take it on a guy that is such an unknown health wise could be just rolling that pick and lighting it on fire.

Where's Tapper from OU falling in the mocks? 3rd round? He tested very well and could be a nice project at DE.

I agree. I have read widely varying reports on the condition of his knee, and most of it is pessimistic. And, apparently, it's more than just his knee...his ankle was also injured and is also a factor in his availability for the coming year. From what I can tell, most reports are doubtful that he will be able to play at all in 2016, with some even having doubts as to whether his leg (knee/ankle) will ever fully recover enough to play pro ball. He is scheduled to have another evaluation prior to the draft, though, so that report will carry immense weight with regards to his draft spot.

Spence or Lynch. But, neither will probably be available @ #34, which is why we're supposedly in talks to move back up into the bottom of the 1st to grab one of them. It'll cost us our #34 + #?.

It's all speculation of course but even if he takes all of 2016 off, he may never be the same player he was in college.

I feel for the kid. Good for him that he will collect a sizable insurance payment for his injury. But his football career is very much up in the air right now. He's a mid round flyer at this point.

For lack of a better method I sorted the nfl.com draft tracker by grade and looked at who was there at or after 34. Jonathan Bullard Florida was the first player available and sounded like the kind of DT we like for our system. He has position flex and may be a better prospect than Floyd who we didn't pick a few years ago.

Overview
The Gators have had a versatile defensive lineman selected in the first round in two of the last three drafts: Sharrif Floyd to Minnesota in 2013 and Dominique Easley by the Patriots in 2014. Bullard is looking to become the next in line. The former five-star recruit has moved between end and tackle during his career, showing off both quickness and power. He was fairly productive despite playing inside often as a junior (8.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks), but really turned on the juice as a senior (66 tackles, 17.5 TFL, 6.5 sacks), earning third team All-American honors from the Associated Press as well as consensus first team All-SEC honors.

Analysis
Strengths
Quick and instinctive off the snap. Has a sense of where the ball is going and heads in that direction. Moves well down the line against zone plays. Uses hands and inside shoulder to brace against blocker to prevent a cross face block. Comes out of his stance with good pad level and burst. Attacks gaps and produces disruptive results. Half of his tackles gained two yards or less and was credited with 17.5 tackles for loss. Hard-charging, high-effort defender. Has above average change of direction talent for his size and a second gear in pursuit of ball carriers. Competitive and willing to mix it up. Had several physical reps against LSU and Vadal Alexander. Hands are solid, but can get better. Able to generate a bull rush and has potential to roll through guards with weak edges en route to the quarterback

Absolutely agree with every word in your post. Yep, at this moment, I agree that he's a mid round flier. That said, it only takes one team to disagree with the currently prevailing prognosis and take him in round two. The coming reevaluation of the injury could end up being good news and significantly boost his stock. For his sake, I hope it does.

I would say the best DL available but I think we go Bosa, Buckner, or Spence in RD1

So at #34 Paxton Lynch falling to us would be a dream scenario. That's who I would want. Or Josh Doctson

More realistic: Derrick Henry or Connor Cook

If they don't get a QB with the first pick then I am hoping they trade back into the first for Lynch.

If they pick a DE at #4 and can't trade up for Lynch then I am hoping either Eli Apple or Corey Coleman fall to pick 34.

If none of the above applies then I am hoping like crazy that Dodd falls in our laps at 34.

Convoluted, not-probable, but there you go.

If we go QB at 4- Nkemdiche, Ogbah, Joseph, Dodd, Spence

If we go Ramsey at 4- Doctson, Treadwell, Spence, Dodd, highest rated DT

If we go Bosa at 4- Doctson, Treadwell, Jackson, Joseph

I see people think Treadwell falls into the 2nd round. I don't see that happening.
