Who do you want on the nickel for the next 4 weeks?

That's true and my one hope for the season is that Garrett truly embraces the walk around HC leadership role and forces some of his coordinators to take chances. Actually manage the offense and defense instead of worrying that he cooridnate the specific, best route combinations, blocking schemes, etc that he has had to juggle up until this year.

I don't count on it but I do hope for it.

They claimed yesterday on local sports talk radio that Garrett is suggesting changes that Marinelli could make to his scheme.

With Hamilton and Scandrick out, we have 4 weeks without our two best nickel options.

If Hamilton is our best option for anything, than this defense is worse off than what anyone could iimagine. He has done nothing for this statement to be anywhere close to being accurate. Even when Hamilton comes back, he won't be a best option for nickle back.

I'm much more worried about what the nickle d line is going to look like. Doesn't matter who we have at CB if we can't get pressure on the QB. Especially with illegal contact being enforced at a ridiculous rate, every CB is going to get beat or at least commit a penalty if the QB has 3+ seconds to throw.

Moore.

Patmon mostly covered guys now working at Chili's.

Its not about who he covered. Its about how he responded to the film work and applied it in the game. I'll take those instincts over experience at being average.

It's a toss up. Both Moore and Patmon have shown the ability to go get the ball. Moore may be a little more fragile but I believe they are basically the same player at this point in both their careers.
