Who do you want to backup Romo?

vinny should be brought in as qb coach if anything not as a player

Bring back Anthony Wright.

I agree. They play a similar game and won't be necessary to drastically change the offensive gameplan if Romo were to miss a game or 2.

Word up here is Huard wants a shot to start and wants starter money. So you can probably scratch out his name.

Vinny as a QB coach? Is he going to teach his disciples how to throw tons of picks but still somehow remain a starter in the league for about 2 decades?

Chris Simms is a free agent. But, he will proabably get starter money somewhere like Miami. I like the kid.

I actually think Touisosopo (whatever) is very similar to Romo in style of play. A little more mobile, but a guy who probably would be a good transition if Romo went down for a few weeks.

Garcia should get a shot at battling McNabb for the starting job. McNabb was going into the tank when he got hurt last season.

Simms signed a two-year extension with TB, that's why I didn't include his name in the original list.

Well, good for him. I hope he succeeds.
